In the process of removing a water heater from the kitchen, they nicked my tile. They offered to cover the cost of the floor tile, which is what I truly do appreciate .This is why I rate them a four out of five stars.

I was very pleased with the work Stephen and his team had done for my house. There were some broken roof tiles, and water was leaking in the garage. Stephen explained replacing the tiles would not prevent from water leaking again, because he found there were thick layers of debris from the pine tree. Without cleaning the valleys, the water will not run down the roof. Also, some windows needed to be sealed correctly. Bottom line, I feel he was really looking out for me to make sure the repair was not temporary. His price was very reasonable. He ended up doing a lot more work such as trimming the tree, pressured washing the roof, painting one corner of the wall near the window. Plus, he did not charge me more than he originally quoted. The other quotes I obtained from other contractors for just replacing the broken tiles were not much less. I highly recommend Mr. Fixit. I will hire him again for future repair/maintenance in a heartbeat.

All In One Plumbing & Drains, Inc. removed and disposed of our old water heater at a $35 charge, they got the permit for us at a $50 charge plus the cost of the permit at City Hall, they picked up and transported the new water heater from Orchard Hardware, around 2 miles at a $35 charge and installed the water heater in around 4 1/2 hours and it passed inspection by the City the next day. Cesar and his apprentice were very courteous and friendly and did a good job and the only complaint I have about their service is the final price. The Thumbtack.com price they advertised online was $225 but the final price turned out to be $700, over 3 times what they advertised. I would have left off one more star in the rating but they are still cheaper than Sears and the other licensed contractors that quoted us prices on Thumbtack. A couple of the handymen on Thumbtack quoted less of a price but there's no guarantee with someone that's not a licensed and bonded contractor. I don't know what these quotes on Thumbtack are based on and I forgot to ask them about it but these people need to be more honest about their final estimates since $225 plus $120 plus the permit price of $47 doesn't equal $700 dollars.

Adam was prompt and courteous. Very conscientious about the quality of his work. He did a great job replacing baseboards and applying drywall to repair water damage. Also, repaired bad stress cracks in my walls and other shoddy plastering work by a previous owner. He has an hourly rate this is very reasonable and he din't draw out the work to make extra money. Very efficient.

Aire rite came to our home for only $20 (on a Sunday) and after inspecting our water heater throughly (we had no hot water) determined that we needed a new gas valve. Our technician (David) gave us all our options and even worked with us on the price. The company did not have the part in stock but they put a rush order on it and they were back in our home installing the new part on Tuesday morning. We are 100% satisfied with their service. Very friendly, professional and reasonably priced. We would DEFINITELY use them again if needed and would also recommend them to anyone in need.

Top service plumbing was great to work with. They were able to come out the same day, and even brought a water heater with them. Unfortunately, it turned out that my old house required a special order unit. They quickly sourced one in the area and came out first thing in the morning the next day! We will use them again for our plumbing needs.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink from a former plumber who installed the sink and couldn't get it to stop leaking... until I called Ocho plumbing it was fixed in ten minutes. I have also used their services to replace a water heater, and even remove an old broken washer and install a new one.

I was in a bind. My hot water heater started leaking and flooded my kitchen and laundry room. I called Jim in the afternoon about the problem and he showed up to my house first thing the next morning. He replaced the hot water heater at a fair price. He left my house spotless. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field. I would recommend his services to anyone in need of home repairs.

I’m real estate property manager. I met Sal in 2010. Since then I’ve always been impressed with his work. He has done many repairs and improvements such as installing new vinyl windows, including patio sliders. I’ve had him install bathtub/shower enclosures, sinks, toilets, garbage disposers and water heaters. He has replace valves and faucets. He can frame walls, hang and finish drywall beautifully. Recently he installed a stove exhaust hood vent, including cutting the existing cabinets and venting it out the roof. He has hung interior and exterior doors. He can trouble shoot electrical problems, replace circuit breakers, install coax, HDMI and CAT5. I’ve asked him to run new electrical and cable outlets and install TV braces and hang large TVs. I recently had a dishwasher leak in an upstairs apartment that damaged the ceiling below. Sal removed the old damaged ceiling. Ran fans to make sure everything was dry before he installed new drywall and insulation in the kitchen/dining area. He added a brace for a new ceiling fan, which he also installed. He matched the existing drywall texture and painted it. He also installed a new dishwasher upstairs. In addition to all of the above he can unclog drains big and small. This is only a partial list of his abilities; no job is too big or small. He's excellent at problem solving and I’ve yet to find anything he can’t do well. Most of all he’s dependable, honest and fair, not to mention he’s a Marine. I would highly recommend Sal.

I have found Bill Chafee of OneCall2 to be honest and well qualified in mold inspection and removal for several reasons. I've had 3 appointments with Bill Chafee and each time he arrived on time or early for our appointment offering his best smile. He listened well and responded to each of my questions articulately. Another mold inspector (Shegun of Pure-r Space) had told me I had wet mold under my hall bath which he determined by drilling a hole in the wall and using a cable cam to take photographs which he said would be in his report. I called my insurance company and an inspector came out and was waiting on Shegun's photographs and report to proceed but the photographs were not forthcoming. Suspicious, I told Bill Chafee of my plight and he performed his own inspection using thermal imaging and visual inspection. Bill Chafee's report stated: “Nothing was found, other than calcium deposits from concrete No water stains to indicate previous damage, and No microbial growth (mold).” He allowed me to view in the hole to see for myself once he determined I would not be exposed to mold. He provided photographs of the area to me the next day in a professionally-written report of his findings. Bill Chafee commented on the kitchen mold removal performed by Pure-r Space saying: “ It is clear that the IICRC S500 guidelines for the removal of mold was in violation. Example, complete containment area of work, to include a clean room. not topically treating visual mold before removing contaminated ares, not aspirating affected wall and fogging behind with an anti microbial in order to treat mold spores behind the wall, thus limiting the possibility of spreading mold spores through the entire house. Proper conduct of mold remediation should have been. contain area, with a clean zone, use Hepa filtration to evac contaminated area. topically treat exposed area, aspirate wall fog with an anti microbial, molded materials are considered hazardous waste and should be double bagged in industrial waste bags and disposed of properly with waste management. After remediation was performed, a clearance test with certification should have been performed and a final clean of all area's cleaned with an anti microbial cleaner.” I now understand why my lungs feel worse after the kitchen mold treatment procedure by the other company and wish that I could go back in time and have chosen OneCall2 instead and had my mold removed properly. I am so glad Bill Chafee inspected the hall bath area and found it did not need treatment before I acted further believing the other company's claims of wet mold. Also, a flood company confirmed no moisture in that area by thermal imaging. I have learned the hard way the importance of making sure that any contractor hired is currently licensed in good standing, certified, and insured. Bill Chafee's current qualifications are California Gen B 987118, IICRC 150594. His certifications include water, odor's,and microbial remediation, lead (state) Masters certificate in Goldmorr remedial products. I am grateful to know Bill Chafee of OneCall2 and recommend him for the reasons stated above.

I have used Clark Plumbing services many times. Brandon, the owner of the business, once changed a water heater in my house that gave out. I had not had to deal with this issue in the past and therefore, did not know a whole lot about the various water heaters available. Brandon didn't just give me what he wanted me and then charge me. Instead, he talked me through the different types and sizes most appropriate for the size of my house. He also discussed the different qualities and prices of water heaters available, allowing me to make an informed decision. The information he provided actually gave me the opportunity to upgrade to a better quality product and size, and yet choose from good quality products that were still cost effective. And this was really noticeable when my family members all took showers and we still had hot water. It was nice! Brandon also converted the plumbing in my home to copper pipes. What a difference! I loved it! Furthermore, a neighbor of mine was told that she needed plumbing services that would cost a lot of money. I referred her to Clark Plumbing for an estimate. Brandon told her what she needed in order to handle the issue, and it turns out it was way less than what she had been quoted by the previous plumber. He was able to fix her plumbing issue for a lot less money. I have come to trust him and his services, which I value as extremely important. He is super honest and doesn't charge for services that do not need to be done. Since I have used Clark Plumbing services several times, I have gotten to know him a little better. He's a friendly and funny guy. I learned that Brandon started out doing plumbing work with his father when he was a teenager. He now has many years of experience providing plumbing services and from my experience with him, really knows what he is doing. I found out that he has worked both in installing plumbing into new dwellings and buildings, as well as providing plumbing services for those who need help, like (on occasion) me. Brandon has done an excellent job with the plumbing services he has done for me and honestly, he is the first person I refer people to when they tell me they have a plumbing issue.

Jeremy and his team were wonderful. They diagnosed our issues and solved them honestly. I found his team super trust worthy. We have a bunch of quotes and most said we needed to re-pipe the entire house!! Jeremy got our water pressure back up without a huge re-piping.

Saturday morning, and the discovery of a water heater going south... never a good way to start a weekend. But by 4pm the same day, problem solved! First I stumbled onto Thumbtack, which I'd never heard of before. And once I submitted my request, in flowed responses from five local Service Companies. Of the five, R&R caught my interest because they took the time to ask for specifics. They texted for more detailed information and a photo of my water heater. After sending that, they provided a competitive quote, identified the brand of water heater they recommend and install, and said they could have it installed same day! All of this communication happened in 30 minutes. Awesome! By mid-afternoon, Ryan showed up, assessed the situation and explained, in detail, the process he would go through and how long it would take. When he finished up, he explained the operation of the new unit, buttoned everything up, and hauled off the old heater. Just an awesome experience from my standpoint! I can't praise the whole operation enough! Thank you R&R, and thank you Ryan!
