I feel that we owe Kevin a review, not only a good review, but a GREAT review. We called him initially to help with our leaking sink, and later decided to ask him to fix all plumbing problems of our house since we were planning to rent it out. Kevin came twice, not only fixed our leaking sink, but also helped us cleaning black molds (Felt really sorry to have him doing that), re-installing our disposal and sewer pipes, and giving out suggestions how we could fix the garage faucet ourselves. He is prompt, always on time, and very experienced. Most importantly, he REALLY cares about helping you out. Just after his second visit to fix the kitchen faucet, we found our under the sink filtration system leaking and I left him a message. In the following days he called us three times to discuss about possible ways we can try out to fix that, and at the end he offered himself to come and take a look -for FREE! So he came the 3rd time, re-connected our filtration system, waited for half an hour to make sure it was fix, and in the mean time giving my husband general education of plumbing. Wow! Will definitely recommend.
David arrived promptly as scheduled and was well equipped to handle a variety of renovation and installation tasks that were presented to him. His price was right and he was very helpful with ideas to cut costs and using construction methods and/or materials to save time. I would definitely recommend hiring David for any of your home repair, renovation, or installation needs.
I hired Harp to fix the installation of the legs to our new air hockey table which we installed incorrectly. Not only did Harp fix what we knew we installed wrong, he found something else about the installation which was vital to its stability and fixed it too. I also had him look at a couple of other small projects and he went above and beyond my expectations for their repairs too. I have had Harp come to the house one other time for repairs and I'm scheduling another. He is extremely capable at fixing everything I've asked--be it carpentry, electrical, plumbing and even gardening.
Great service, very professional and informative. Will definitely recommend to friends & family. Arisel Ortega did a great job on my electrical repairs.
He bid $125 to clear the drain of a light well. Came within the half hour arranged arrival window. Swept clean the roof area. Found after the water initially drained that water backed up again. Determined that there was another clog underground near the sewer connection. Since there was no cleanout at the ground level and drain pipes were corroded (I had patched holes with plumbers putty and duct tape) He replaced the pipes for another $250 plus parts. This involved cutting away some cross beams to pull the pips out. Only minor complaint I noticed the next day that was that he didn't close tight the faucet to get water for testing the drain so there was a slow drip.
We had our sewer pipe replace and the driveway repaved. Ronnie was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, helping us find a paving contractor to complete the project.
Ricardo came out right away and fixed our leaky water pipe for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend him!
I hired Oscar to take a video of the sewer line and all pipes connected. The equipment used appeared appropriate and has a sensor to check where the water is running. He ran the video from the sidewalk through the end of the pipe at around 65 feet. This showed some standing water by the foundation.
I contracted Ray about my clogged sewer problem. My toiletes kept backing up. He responded quickly, assessed my plumbing needs and generated a fair market value estimate. Turns out I had tree roots blocking my sewer line. After I did a pricing research for this type of work, I decided to use his service and I am happy to say that my toilets are working again. Thanks Ray!
Erik did a great job snaking an outside sewer line that was tricky to access. What we thought would be a30 minute job ended up taking close to 3 hours of sleuthing and trial/error until he figured it out. Most folks would have given up, frustrated but Erik stuck it out. Really impressive commitment. Came on time, cleaned up, highly-recommended.
I had a water leak issue that was coming through my downstairs ceiling. Issue was due to a backed up shower drain line. Found Vyron on Thumbtack and he contacted that evening to set a time to come by an assess the job. I also needed base Board for the downstairs as well as reinstalling tile in 4 spots from a previous radiant floor heating leak. Vyron was right on time. His quote was very reasonable so I hired him. The time Vyron arranged to begin my repairs was again, right on time. He immediately began his work with a crew. He unclogged the shower drain, removed the damaged drywall and reinstalled new drywall. Installed all the base board and reinstalled the tile. He quoted a time frame of 6-8 hours. He completed everything in 7 hours. He and his crew were very clean and organized. Vyron is professional and friendly. I highly recommend Vyron Salinas. Thanks Brett Larson
Max and Beto are both highly recommended to do all your plumbing and Hvac projects. They deserve a 10 star rating. I cannot thank them enough for all the work they did to install our tankless water heater. Not only are they very professional but did a clean job and very good price.
Routine water heater swap - yeah right. What started out as thinking our water heater was broken, turned out to be a long overdue clogged sewer lateral. Worst case scenario. While I'm not that happy about the sewage overflow situation which could have been better mitigated (and we still need to beach the hell out of that room), the solutions and options offered by Ali were professional and spoke of his experience. To unclog the piping, snaking was attempted but failed, hydrojetting was attempted but failed (with a mess of sewage). Finally we got a camera down there to find a wall of something about 50 feet down from the mechanical room to a spot under the sidewalk. Digging 4 feet down, to find actually a pretty good condition clay lateral. Ali's man Valentino (a skilled gentleman), cut the clay and replaced it with a riser in order to install a cleanout for future maintenance. Once done, they hydrojetted for another hour to clear 7-8 months worth of waste. The camera was once again sent through to find that a portion of the clay lateral had shifted and created uneven surfaces including some penetration of tree roots. While most plumbers would probably recommending an immediate replacement, Ali recommended that since it wasn't fully collapsed, we should simply clear out the lateral as routine maintenance rather than spend all the money to replace the pipe. I appreciate his direct communication, no sales pitch, and brief coaching through the process. While I do have 10 yrs of construction experience, and his price was not the cheapest, he certainly delivered on time and without any sense of price gouging.
Greg responded to my request quickly, and came over the next day to repair a utility room waste water leak in the very confined area of the crawl space. He went about his business, and completed the job quickly. His billing was reasonable, and he was a pleasure to deal with on this project. I would recommend him.
Dinh installed a new water heater for my house as my old one broke down after over 15 years' usage. Before the work, we discussed it by phone. Dinh asked me to take pictures of the old water heater and its installation so that he could give accurate estimate on how much it would cost. This was very helpful for me to decide whether to go with Dinh. Dinh also checked that I turned off the gas value so that it wouldn't cause any hazard. Dinh came one day earlier to remove the old heater to save time for the next visit when he installed the water heater as he could check which additional pipes or parts that he would need. The installation was very smooth and Dinh also walked me through the pilot lighting process and followed up the next few days to ensure that the water heater worked well with no issue. Overall, I felt very comfortable working with Dinh and trusted his workmanship.
I work in the construction industry as a project manager. I am not sufficiently knowledgeable in piping/plumbing to perform the work myself (as I tend to create more issues than resolve them). I needed a shower valve replaced that I had managed to break at home while trying to make some repairs. Gerardo not only gave a great price, but his attention to detail, craftsmanship and experience was above my expectations. I was and am very pleased with how everything went. He was clean, very friendly and I enjoyed his company. I hope to use him on all piping/plumbing needs in the future.
I used Max when I was a building manager in San Francisco for 8 years. He was always fast, courteous, and professional. In 8 years, everything he did was perfect. Water heaters, sewer replacement, gas pipe, tankless water heaters, copper pipe, he did it all at a good price. The only time I was mad at Max was when he went on vacation and I had to hire another plumber. That's when I realized how good I had it with Max. He really is the best I've ever worked with.
Ganzo and his partner installed a Gas line for my new gas range which was about 80% of the total work. The rest 20% of the work was a water line for the Refrigerator. The 80% of the work i.e. gas line has not been tested yet as I do not have a gas range yet. I will update the review when I start using it. The rest of the work - water line seems to be working fine. Ganzo and his partner did good work, were punctual and completed the work based on the pre-decided scope of work. They were punctual, & thorough in their work & at this point the water line is working as expected. Ganzo's partner was helpful in getting my requests through to Ganzo when I wanted to make sure the work is done -"in my view" the certain way. I would definitely hire Ganzo in the future for further plumbing work if I so need it.
I needed a door repaired. He responded quick, set a time that was convienent and clearly explained the situation with context. Great job!
Dennis , the owner of NBPE did an excellent job finding the problem and solving it. He was right on time and had great tools to clean out our 4 inch plumbing line. He discovered one pipe was set the wrong way during an earlier repair by another plumber and was able to replace that section of pipe. Everything worked perfectly after that and the price was very reasonable. He even gave a 150 discount for the exploration. I would definite recommend this contractor.
Highly recommended pro. I had an emergency sewer blockage on a Friday night and Cory immediately responded and told me what to do. He came out early the next morning and cleared my sewer blockage, and took videos that exactly identified the problem and permanent repair. So relieved as this gave me my sewer function back for the short term, and gave me a long term fix. We were able to agree on the scope of work to permanently fix the problem based on the video evidence... less than one week later my sewer break is permanently repaired and warrantied for five years. Totally happy with this pro, and will use again for any other sewer or plumbing problems. Kudos for promptness, quality of work, thank you Cory, and to Thumbtack for connecting me to this pro.
