I genuinely care about my patients and their well-being. I listen and get to the bottom of things to implement the best plan of care possible. My day is fulfilled when my patient pops off of my table and feels amazing. I love the instant relief I'm able to provide. I also love watching my patients improve over time. Watching a knee-replacement patient walk without a cane or any pain was one of my most prized days.

I am very attentive to my patients specific needs. My experience has enabled me to assess each patient's injury in a fast and efficient manner, and my skill sets are very flexible in dealing with a wide range of issues. First and foremost is the opportunity to help my patients with their injuries, and to witness the effectiveness of the TCM treatments, and the progression of healing. I first began massage treatment when I was 13 years old, studying Shiatsu as my first style. I developed a large clientele who benefited from what I was leaning in school. Not the least of which was my mother, who had suffered from migraines for 14 years, and received a great amount of relief from her treatments. What I like the most about my practice is helping people heal, and educating them about their bodies.

I incorporate functional medicine into my practice which gives more of a working knowledge of Western diseases on a biological level. This gives me the ability to order lab work and to uncover processes that are not functioning at an optimal level in your body that your general practitioner might overlook. Nutrition is of the utmost importance in making lasting changes and is a primary focus in my practice. Educating people on how to take control of their health.

  1. #1 Inner Spark: Acupuncture & Wellness

    (2 reviews)

    Morgan H.

Amy at Inner Spark Acupuncture & Wellness does an amazing job. I suffer(ed) from chronic migraines, and have been treated by various doctors, including neurologists, in Western medicine for over 30 years. In the last year my migraines had increased from 8-10 a month to 14-16 a month as my job is very stressful (litigation attorney). Finally I figured I would try acupuncture (but was told to not count on it working.) Well... I am hooked. Amy took a great deal time first talking to me about all of my symptoms, the triggers for migraines, where the migraines are felt the most, my other general health, eating habits, routines, and sleep patterns, etc. I was actually starting to have a migraine during the end of the initial talk (not because of her of course), so when I told her that: she immediately determined places to insert the needles in the various places on my body (I think it was about 10 total) and my migraines WENT AWAY! Additionally, after having treatments twice a week and now down to 1 week, my migraines are only about 5-7 month and she has helped with my TMJ/grinding my teeth! So --- I highly recommend Amy at Inner Spark. She is knowledgeable, it works and she has great customer service too!
