J7 is an amazing entertainer! I have had the pleasure of watching her at numerous events and she brings great joy to her performance, which means very happy children. I have watched her on stilts, as a fire-eater, and one-to-one with kids. She has a great big heart and it shows. While entertaining children at Kaiser hospital, I watched her connect deeply with kids in their hospital beds, bringing smiles and raising their spirits. I have used Hannah at Red Letter Events for not only my bridal shower, but also my wedding and baby shower. My bridal shower was adorable. Valentine's Day themed with a candy bar, beautiful red table decor and was perfectly organized. From start to finish, Hannah did a tremendous job. Then comes my wedding day. Not only did she help with hand painting Mr. & Mrs. signs, setting up tables, making sure I was taken care of, making sure there was champagne in the limo- the day wouldn't have gone nearly as perfect without her there. Lastly comes one of my favorite days, my baby shower day. At this point, after seeing her style and grace- I left the entire theme and day up to Hannah. I walked around the corner and saw the most exquisite long table, with silver chivali chairs, mercury glass, hand written and hand made name tags, pink flowers (for a baby girl) it was literally breathtaking. Can you imagine a nine month pregnant emotional breakdown- well... It happened. Long story short, all of the most important and memorable days of my life have been put together and made perfect by Hannah and Red Letter Events, and I'm so grateful they were.
We can't say enough good things about Chef Reneé and her team at Luscious Bites. They catered both our wedding for 100 at our home in Thousand Oaks and the brunch the following morning. They did a fabulously wonderful job. My family is of French heritage and filled with good cooks and foodies. So, the food part of the wedding was VERY important to us. We interviewed a dozen caterers, we went to a few tastings and even tried a several local restaurants in the initial planning stages. We were beginning to get worried that we would have to settle for less than we wanted until we met with Chef Reneé. Her stellar personality and her food at the tasting put both of our minds at ease and we knew that we had found the person who would cater our wedding to our standards. The food was all delicious and beautifully presented - crab stuffed Chilean Sea Bass, Blood Orange Glazed Pork tenderloin (to die for!), Saltimboca chicken, Saffron and Roasted Garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus with grilled red peppers and onions, arugula salad with heirloom baby beets and cherry tomatoes, Japanese cheesecake with 5-spice caramel, triple chocolate mousse cups and an apple tartlett. The brunch the next morning was equally wonderful as well, I mean stuffed French toast do I need to say more. All of the guests raved about the food! And, their wait staff was perfect. It couldn't have gone better! With all of the stresses that a wedding entails, Chef Reneé and her team definitely wasn't one of them. She was responsive, flexible with our many changes and positive and upbeat. She even handle the arrival unexpected guests at the brunch with grace and without missing a beat. They are everything you could ever want and we'll definitely use them again!!
Maggie was absolutely fantastic! She put together our Baby Shower that left everybody including my wife and myself mesmerized by the beautiful atmosphere that she had customized for us. Her attention to detail was impeccable and she went out of her way to ensure total satisfaction with regards to every element of the event, be it the venue and food selection, the decoration elements and even the service at the event. I would not hesitate for a moment in selecting Maggie for any of my future events!
I have to start off by saying that Patricia is a very nice and sweet lady. That's one of things I really loved about her. She takes her job very serious and gets the job done! I called her last minute and she still made sure my event (Baby Shower) was very nice and BEAUTIFUL!! I got my moneys worth and everyone loved the designs which made me feel even better. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with decorating any event.
My fiance and I spent what felt like forever debating if we would need to hire a wedding planner and a florist. We really didn't want to because we felt we could handle most of it ourselves, but the hesitation was around the decor, flowers, and overall style of our wedding. I'm clueless when it comes to making something out of nothing... Enter Kelly (Champagne Projects). We met Kelly when she was hitting the ground running with Champagne Projects and always loved EVERYTHING she put together (even things for fun around her home -- you should see what this woman can do with almost any size budget and creative freedom -- it's astounding). So we thought, hmm, why hire a wedding planner and a florist when we have someone we trust right here? Fast forward to the planning part. I hate planning. Did I mention I have no eye for decor? Right. Well, Kelly dealt with this for about 6 months, providing suggestions, finding alternatives, and essentially saying, "It's OK, I got this," about a zillion times. If it weren't for her quick-thinking, eye for creativity, and love for design, I'd have pulled my hair out well before the wedding ;) ...she even worked with the event coordinator to arrive early to have time to get everything done without rushing -- details I'd never have thought of, she took it upon herself to go above and beyond. So long story even longer, Champagne Projects KILLED IT at our wedding. The bride and bridesmaid bouquets were the perfect balance of color and size, the centerpieces made the boring white table cloths seem non-existent, and the head table looked like something out of a fairy tale. She even personally wove together eucalyptus garland for our ceremony and brought extra flowers for the cake and desert table. When we got to the venue after Kelly and the event coordinator had set up, I had to walk around and just take it all in. She was able to do what most people really seem to struggle with - MAKE YOUR PINTEREST DREAMS A REALITY - at a really competitive rate. Julia planned my Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party and did an AMAZING job. She is so organized and creative - two of the most important things in an event planner! My girlfriends and I had such a great time at both parties thanks to Julia. Don't miss the opportunity to work with her because she is outstanding!!!!!!
We hired Ashley as a day-of planner for a medium sized wedding of 115 guests with several vendors to coordinate. We were so glad we did too. Ashley did a great job coordinating the vendors during our wedding day. She was able to pickup where we left off and fill in where we might have had gaps. I didn’t want a planner and to anyone sitting on the fence about this decision- get a planner and hire Ashley. I couldn’t be happier with how smoothly the day went and how Ashley managed the event.
