We took piano lessons with Hillary! She is such a great teacher, and also super nice and patient. I highly recommend her. LessonLodge's service is really cool. Their founder, William, matched me with Hillary and was very helpful along the way. I was able to watch her new student video before I even booked. Also, they have a mobile app, so it was very easy to schedule and communicate with Hillary. Thanks LessonLodge!
Great office service and our instructor, Alex, is great too! Our daughter is really enjoying her cello lessons!
Ricardo and Edna are both professional musical instructor. My 2 son ages 7 and 16 took the piano lessons and I took the guitar lessons. Starting from a complete newbie I quickly began to notice that we are progressing rapidly.. Highly recommended.
I've been receiving alto sax lessons from Dave for a few months, and I feel my understanding for the instrument and music in general has been greatly broadened. Each lesson he reveals something I didn't even know I didn't know about playing. His good humored wisdom and wit, paired with stories of a lifetime spent in love with music, create a safe, comfortable environment to deepen inspiration and growth.
He is our first clarinet teacher, he is good with what he does, he is on time, we had him for two years now, it would be nice to include recital events for his students on regular basics. That is the only thing needed from this instructor.
It's my pleasure to write a review of Peter, from whom I've taken clarinet lessons for more than a year. When I started, I had just bought a clarinet at a pawn shop and decided at the age of 65 to learn how to play the clarinet. I couldn't read music, hadn't the foggiest idea of what those holes on the clarinet were about; I really was starting at square one. Why? Because I had taken violin lessons in elementary school and had come to the conclusion I had no musical talent. So I decided to check if that were true. Peter is a fabulous teacher, and the result now is that pick up a sheet of music and I play. And it sounds right! Peter displayed just the right amount of patience and discipline, the latter being done always diplomatically but firmly and always made sense. He slowly took me through the steps necessary to learn how to play, and as time went on, a lesson was always an interesting time. For me. Peter never showed disdain, but there sure were times when he could have. Peter is an excellent teacher and his teaching has brought great joy in my life. I may not be so talented, but now I I know I can play a clarinet. I can't recommend him as a teacher more highly.
I enjoy teaching at B&H because the students and I have a private studio with air conditioning. I don't have to dodge traffic jams on the 5 or the 78 which cause delay in the schedule. There is plenty of parking in back of the store and the parents can do errands while the kids have a music lesson. If the students need reeds or new method books, the parents can purchase everything at the store. I teach all ages and all levels and I believe everyone can achieve on a musical instrument. Eulis was very welcoming and accommodating. I'm a beginner when it comes to singing and Eulis made me feel very comfortable and was very constructive and creative when trying to explain the mechanics of singing which can sometimes seem a bit abstract. Looking forward to more lessons soon!
