FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most of the time I will go to the customer's location because I believe that it's much easier on them, especially if their computer is a desktop model, which isn't easy to break down and transport. Once I'm at the job site I'll ask the customer a few preliminary questions about the issue that they are having with their PC system, 'What were you doing on the computer when this happened? Have you recently installed any new programs? Has there been a recent Windows Update?' And similar questions along those lines, to help me get a basic picture of why the customer's computer is malfunctioning. Once my analysis of the malfunction is completed and I've establish the "why" of it, I'll take steps to get to the root cause and correct it.
