Introduction: Welcome! I’m Julie Deustua, Cordon Bleu chef and Nutrition Health Coach. I'm the owner of Cocina de la Tierra, and the reason my business stands out is because cooking and inspiring others to get in the kitchen and cook is not a job, it’s my passion and I love every minute of it! I do artisan catering for smaller groups and I aim to transform a meal into a memorable moment for my clients. In addition to catering I teach Cooking Classes to small groups using recipes from around the world, encouraging my students to embrace home cooking as part of a healthier living. As a Nutrition Health Coach, I help my clients to achieve their nutrition goals through Healthier Living Strategies and 30 Day Clean Eating Challenges. When I am not in the kitchen or helping others to achieve healthier lifestyles, you can find me exercising and enjoying the beautiful SoCal weather at the beach with my family.
I believe that cooking for others is one of the most beautiful ways to show love. Seeing happy customers either because they hired me to cook for a special gathering or because they want to learn to cook and realize it is not as difficult as they thought, is one of my greatest joys.
As a Health Coach, it makes me immensely proud to be a witness of the positive changes that occur in my clients' lives when they decide to trust me to help them achieve healthier eating habits.
