I was signed up to take a Kaplan course for GMAT prep and was talking to a co-worker about it when they told me their story. They took one of the same Kaplan courses I was signed up to take and didn't get their desired GMAT score. In their second attempt, they signed up for private tutoring with John Easter, one of Elite Home Tutoring tutors, and their GMAT score improved by over 100 points. After hearing this story, I called to cancel my Kaplan class & signed up with Elite Home Tutoring, with a special request to work with John. During my studies, I decided that I wanted to take the GRE instead of the GMAT. I explained this to my tutor John and to Eric at Elite Home Tutoring and the change was so simple. John is not only skilled in GMAT prep but GRE prep as well. So the only thing that would need to change were the materials. If you're looking for the best resources for test prep I highly recommend Elite Home Tutoring. I have no complaints!

We first tried in person tutoring and then tried online tutoring. We were very happy with both. We ended up sticking with online tutoring.

Baeleigh (our daughter to whom James is tutoring) says, "I love that instead of James just telling me how to do something, he uses visuals and is very interactive in explaining something to me. There is nothing that he can do better, I am happy that he is my tutor." As parents, we like that he is so good at finding how Baeleigh learns best so that he can teach her in a way she understands. He is patient and has been good at keeping in touch with her teachers and also with us.

I typically meet with Cara once a week(schedule permitting) for French lessons. We discuss everything from grammar, native phrases, business, and most importantly I feel prepared for my trip to France. I highly recommend Cara for anyone who is a Francophile, planning a trip to the City of Lights, or someone who wants to enhance their knowledge of the language. Better yet, Cara can do lessons in Spanish, Italian, as well as piano. She is a great tutor, kind and patient and you will find your time spent with her to be rewarding!! I highly recommend!

      About

Hello! I can tutor any student from the 4th to 12th grade (and some above that depending on classes) in any type of history (also called social studies) or English. This includes reading or writing techniques, grammatical help, also reading comprehension and any area you can think of. I graduated from Rancho Christian High School and was in my senior year in English AP. I also acted as a TA and intern for my English teacher. I taught classes several times and developed lesson plans. I also received awards in history and the Bible. I am down-to-earth and will assess what the student needs and adjust accordingly. I hope to help any student develop a respect for the subject. By the end of the tutoring lessons, it is my sincere hope that whoever I have the pleasure to teach, they will not only learn the importance of the subject but enjoy it as well.
