I am a mother of three children and I hired Chris to be our family's private chef. She also was the chef for our occasional dinner parties chef as well as coordinated them for the last two years. We absolutely enjoyed her cooking and loved her easy going nature. Our family will miss Chris profusely as we are moving to Austin.

I hired Jeff to work with my son who is a high school student. We were vacationing in the San Diego area for a several days right before the boys' tennis season started, and Jeff's reviews and philosophy seemed outstanding. We were not disappointed! Jeff was both friendly and professional. My son has had coaching in the past, and Jeff was able to identify goals to help him improve his form. He worked on preparation, footwork, topspin, slice, and his slice and kick serve. Jeff was not a hitting partner and so organized the lesson to allow my son to hit with another student, coordinating their lesson times to get some extra match experience while providing continued instruction. I will definitely look up Jeff the next time we get back to San Diego! He was awesome.

Marla is an outstanding chef! Her service is exceptional. She's always on time, food is excellent, healthy and organic. She truly cares about her product and her clients and is constantly looking for feedback. She is very attuned to the special needs and preferences of her clients and strives to ensure your expectations are met and exceeded. I could go on and on. She's the total package!

We hired Kari Rich to prepare a special meal in our Point Loma home for a party of nine guests last night. We were so extremely impressed with the food (divine!) and ease of planning that we had to share! Kari is very professional, punctual, organized, easy to communicate with, and most importantly, makes amazing food. She is experienced and has worked locally for years with one of San Diego's most successful chefs/restauranteur. She charged per hour for her time spent shopping, prepping, cooking, and cleaning (in our case it was a total of 4 hrs), plus the cost of food. We highly recommend Chef Kari if you are considering hiring a private chef for a small or large party. She was truly a delight to deal with and everyone LOVED the food she thoughtfully prepared.

Steve cooked amazing meals for us on a regular basis. He is very talented and very willing to customize menu to meet your needs. We've tried many different personal chefs in San Diego and he is the best! Also, great personality, very positive, considerate, and reliable. Would strongly recommend!! We can't say enough good things about Chef Reneé and her team at Luscious Bites. They catered both our wedding for 100 at our home in Thousand Oaks and the brunch the following morning. They did a fabulously wonderful job. My family is of French heritage and filled with good cooks and foodies. So, the food part of the wedding was VERY important to us. We interviewed a dozen caterers, we went to a few tastings and even tried a several local restaurants in the initial planning stages. We were beginning to get worried that we would have to settle for less than we wanted until we met with Chef Reneé. Her stellar personality and her food at the tasting put both of our minds at ease and we knew that we had found the person who would cater our wedding to our standards. The food was all delicious and beautifully presented - crab stuffed Chilean Sea Bass, Blood Orange Glazed Pork tenderloin (to die for!), Saltimboca chicken, Saffron and Roasted Garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus with grilled red peppers and onions, arugula salad with heirloom baby beets and cherry tomatoes, Japanese cheesecake with 5-spice caramel, triple chocolate mousse cups and an apple tartlett. The brunch the next morning was equally wonderful as well, I mean stuffed French toast do I need to say more. All of the guests raved about the food! And, their wait staff was perfect. It couldn't have gone better! With all of the stresses that a wedding entails, Chef Reneé and her team definitely wasn't one of them. She was responsive, flexible with our many changes and positive and upbeat. She even handle the arrival unexpected guests at the brunch with grace and without missing a beat. They are everything you could ever want and we'll definitely use them again!!

He has been operating Zen Catering for several years (Santa Fe, NM), working with a private club; Las Campanas, teaching cooking classes (specializing in sushi), consulting with restaurants in opening sushi bars and developing menus, providing private chef services and training chefs new to the field. He has had the opportunity to cook for and meet celebrities and public figures such as John Travolta, Gene Hackman, President Bill Clinton, Adam Sandler, Governor Rick Perry and cartoonist and Charles Barsotti. Syd is currently working with several of the top caterers of San Diego such as Giuseppe Fine Catering, Cork & Platter, Eco Catering, Coast Catering and Sushi Foods. He is launching his own catering services to include sushi and Asian tapas, private chef and consulting services.
