FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was laid off during a downsizing back in 2000, I decided to start or buy a company, so that I didn't have to worry about losing a job again. I left the corporate world working as a Project Manager at a software development company, and pursued my dream of owning my own business.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I just did a pizza party for a group of 10. It turned out fabulous. I enjoyed making the dough ahead of time, allowing the proper time to rise. The toppings were endless, anything goes in pizza land! The guests were excited and happy to roll out their dough, decide what toppings to use, and then put in it in the oven. I think food tastes even better when you have to get the dough right and you build your own!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out your available resources. Decide what kind of a person you'd like to work with. What's their personality like? Are they easy going and calm? Can they handle questions or problems without getting stressed out? Are they priced reasonably so the average person can take part in their services?
