Glen comes to our home to teach our ten year old once per week. He is great with our son and has sparked an enthusiasm in our son that has him so excited about playing the guitar and learning about music! Glen is also a very talented musician - but I'm mostly impressed with his ability to connect with our son. I would HIGHLY reccomend Glen as a music teacher.

Before taking piano lessons with Rebecca, my only experience with musical instruction was through elementary and junior high. Rebecca's training and personal dedication to music makes her an extraordinary teacher. We use the Suzuki books, which I love because that's what I used for violin and flute. She supplements those favorites with really nice adult-learning-centered books on theory. As an adult learner, this was helpful, because I could read through these brief books, but then had the terminology to look up my questions online or know what to ask in lessons. The lessons are so fun and well organized. We work on the songs in the books (which included CDs of the songs so you can hear what the song might sound like if you practice enough) and she would help me with songs I brought in too. Rebecca is so kind, and is great with my five-year-old too. Really, Rebecca is an excellent music instructor. Her academic background, many years of actually playing piano and singing, knowledge of the music available and books, and variety of students -- all make her a versatile teacher, capable of helping anyone learn to the play the piano in whatever style they are interested in. Plus, she is an incredible person. I look forward to piano lessons with her.

When I started taking guitar lessons over 5 years ago, I thought it was just going to be a fun hobby. But now it's my passion. The way that RBSOM organizes this company is truly inspiring. From the lessons to the concerts, it's what makes everything for together. The teachers are amazing! They never have a bad thing to say and they really like to get to know each student on a friendship level. The concerts are also a great way to meet people just like you! You almost never have the same band for each song or concert. Age doesn't matter when you are have a great time laughing and playing some music.

Ii have been looking for a classical guitar instructor for quite some time now and I feel very fortunate to have found Bill Jones. His knowledge and experience shines through in his instruction. I have been playing the guitar for just over a year and felt as though I had a great deal of knowledge, but had a hard time applying it. In just our first session, Bill was provided me with the tools to create more productive practice sessions. Just after two days, I can see positive results from my studies. I highly recommend Bill. Thanks again

I just started working with Michael and I already feel more confident and have more fun playing the guitar than I had in almost a year. His immense love and knowledge of music is astounding and he translates that into lessons that make me excited to learn more. He is very approachable, highly responsive and extremely flexible. I cannot recommend Michael enough to begin or continue your musical education!

Craig was absolutely fantastic! I felt nervous about learning an instrument but I really wanted to learn guitar. Craig individualized my lessons and supported me at my own speed to be comfortable playing. He even helped me play at an open mic. Awesome experience. I highly recommend Craig!

Jesse and the band did a fantastic job for our birthday party. Played the music that we requested and were very professional. Came on time, started on time and sounded great. I would certainly hire them again for another event.

I try to keep it funny and laid back. I specialize in personalization - wherever the student is on their journey, if they just want to learn in how to play their favorite songs by their favorite bands/artists, or they just want to learn only blues licks, or they are starting out fresh to learning guitar, whatever they wish to learn I cater to them. I can also create a more structured curriculum as well! Everything! It's music - the universal language - we all love it, and it just makes life sweeter. I love being a student of music myself (self taught, been playing for almost 20 years, teaching for 5 years) and I love the reward of teaching, getting people to fall in love with playing guitar like I did, and being able to relate to that feeling and relationship with music.

    About

I'm a 21-year-old music theory major who's spent the last 10 years attending the School for the Creative and Performing Arts. I'm familiar with all genres of guitar disciplines.
