We purchased a new home two years ago and my husband and I decided to install new laminate flooring, door trims and baseboards ourselves. We only managed to finish half of the house and got too busy with our work to complete everything upstairs. The house always seemed unfinished with tons of material cluttering our garage. We decided to post an ad on thumbtack and Oscar responded -- and we are soooooo pleased that he did.
Oscar and his crew are true professionals. (You can check out his facebook page for ideas and pictures of his work - https://www.facebook.com/OscarsHardwoodFlooring ). We have nothing but praises for Oscar - the quality of his work, his attention to detail, the fact that they cleaned up everyday before leaving. Now we have absolutely beautiful floors and mouldings and the house is finally "finished"! Even though it wasn't included in his original quote, he also installed the baseboard and quarter-rounds in some of our half-finished closets and pantry. He is a wonderful contractor - one who won't "nickel and dime" you for extra small stuff. My only regret/complaint: 1) not finding/hiring Oscar sooner and 2) not being able to give him more than 5 stars for this review.
