Melissa is a genius! She took my very bold interior paint scheme and toned it down with rugs, curtains, furniture, bed/bathroom accents and linens. The rooms blend because of her choices and in spite of my wild paint job. She brought samples so I had choices, was flexible with my busy schedule, and everyone loves the look inside my house- especially me! You should hire Melissa for your next interior design project!

Working with Melissa was awesome. Her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed. She really wanted the best layout for our kitchen, just as much as I did! She listened to what my thoughts and desires were and she drew up a plan that has worked beautifully for our family now that the remodel is complete.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm always taking a new class, building things with my hands, and seeking new environments by traveling the world. In interiors, inspiration can come from just about anywhere.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I graduated college, I moved from the Midwest out to California where worked at a high end furniture and design store. It was there that I realized design was my passion and I went back to school to make it happen.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

That we aren't just decorators; that we can create functional and sustainable spaces by understanding the clients needs and interests and then proposing a plan to get there.
