Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I develop tools for artists including Project Dogwaffle, digital painting and animation, as well as translation tools and skills. I am fluent in French (native) and German (native), and I can also teach beginning Spanish, Italian, Japanese (spoken) and Russian. I make it fun and modern, using tools online, videos, music, and popular comics. You'll learn the language the way it is used and experienced in Europe, where I grew up. When it comes to 3D, I've got it in my blood. The Best 3D is my website; Carrara is my favorite 3D tool to do just about anything that's 3D, but I dabble and use other big guns too as needed.

Philip is great--a very dedicated tutor. He sent me several options for language programs and gave really helpful homework lessons, as well as many tips on the culture and alternative ways to pick up language (good French movies to watch, music, games, etc). Very nice man and great tutor!

Hi Phil, That's odd, I don't recall ever receiving your message. Are you still looking, interested? Please email me or text me. I get a lot of spam and calls from telemarketers. I may not respond during the day while at work if you call. Best to text me. Please try again if you're still interested.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For tutoring languages, I like to offer a teaser rate on the first hour, so you can see if this is the right approach without getting burnt. Then we jump up to the reasonable reality rate, tand we go on a scale that slides it back down to the teaser rate, $1 down each time we meet. That way it gets more and more attractive for you to keep me longer. In the end it'll seem such a good deal, you'll offer me gelato at Pappalecco. Guaranteed!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

It's called surfing the web for news, discussion forums etc... it's also a matter of attending classes at Community college, free continuing ed is amazing. Finally a place where my tax dollars are well spent! (it certainly didn't go into fixing the roads)

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I studied Electrical Engineering but never quite went into creating stuff. Instead, I love to teach and show people ow to create their own stuff themselves. I love to share the knowledge, I love to train people on tools, tips and techniques. Some of my students have called me a natural born trainer.
