Jenny was a fantastic ACT tutor for my son! I could not have picked a better tutor. Jenny worked with him this summer and was able to quickly ascertain his areas of strength and areas for needed development for the ACT. She also quickly assessed his learning style and put together an efficient customized learning/tutoring plan and tutoring schedule for the summer that helped him make huge strides in both his strongest and weakest sections of the ACT, improving his already high comprehensive test results by 5 points thus far with another week of tutoring yet to go! In particular she did an amazing job tutoring him on the English portion, helping him go from a 26 to a 35 in that section! He has really enjoyed working with her and looked forward to their tutoring sessions. I will be signing my younger son up for ACT tutoring with Jenny next summer for sure!

I was signed up to take a Kaplan course for GMAT prep and was talking to a co-worker about it when they told me their story. They took one of the same Kaplan courses I was signed up to take and didn't get their desired GMAT score. In their second attempt, they signed up for private tutoring with John Easter, one of Elite Home Tutoring tutors, and their GMAT score improved by over 100 points. After hearing this story, I called to cancel my Kaplan class & signed up with Elite Home Tutoring, with a special request to work with John. During my studies, I decided that I wanted to take the GRE instead of the GMAT. I explained this to my tutor John and to Eric at Elite Home Tutoring and the change was so simple. John is not only skilled in GMAT prep but GRE prep as well. So the only thing that would need to change were the materials. If you're looking for the best resources for test prep I highly recommend Elite Home Tutoring. I have no complaints!

"I' been learning math from Batu. I'm 56, and I've been really scared about taking my Algebra class. He help me learn the concepts really well and I got an A in my class. He really clear and had his own way of approaching the subject. I'm glad I chose him as a teach.

Travis tutored me for about two years in my latter half of high school. He provided me all the necessary tools so score extremely high on the SAT and subject tests. He cares so much about his students and their success and goals in life. I'm currently at the college of my dreams, University of Southern California, and without Travis' constant mentoring I am unsure if I would have been given this opportunity. I cannot think of someone more highly recommended in my community to not only tutor kids but also guide them through the trials of growing up than Travis.

Tracy is an amazing tutor that i highly recommend. She tutors both my kids, 11 and 9, with different strengths and weaknesses. She has helped us take a step back and build basic skills that are helpful in all areas of learning. While also helping them with their "focus", she has also helped improve our relationship!!! Feels like many miracles happening at the same time. If youve found Tracy, youve truly found a gem.

Tan is an amazing math tutor/teacher. My son has learning disabilities and for him to be successful not only takes clear and precise instruction, it takes a great deal of patience. What makes Tan so wonderful is that he's able to offer both. I would highly recommend Tan - give him one hour and you'll see why. Thank you Tan for everything you've done for us and we look forward this coming year and moving on from Algebra 1 to Geometry!

We love Ms. Konie! Our 9 year old son has Fragile X and struggles in both writing and math. We have been seeing Konie twice a week for the last six months. She continues to work tirelessly to keep her tutoring sessions interesting and engaging for our son. And we continue to see improvements in his ability to organize his thoughts and write cohesive paragraphs. We would recommend Konie to everyone!

Mary Ellen is one of the best English and writing tutors out there. She has been working with both of my sons, now ages 14 and 17, for several years, helping them develop their writing and literary analysis skills. My older son had problems organizing his thoughts and expressing his ideas clearly and succinctly, and Mary Ellen was instrumental in helping him develop these writing skills. She is adept at literary analysis, an area my younger son needed support in, and provided the extra help he needed to fully comprehend the difficult novels his class was reading. As importantly, Mary Ellen has an amazing ability to relate to her students and both my boys looked forward to working with her.

I have taken private lessons with Evelyn to refresh my advanced conversational skills. Evelyn comes prepared to our session, and always make sure to take you out and over your comfort zone. She makes the session interesting by introducing reading material on different subjects, discussing them with open end questions, analyzing the grammar and applying lessons learned to your own individual situation. She makes learning fun and challenging at the same time!

MathWizJohn’s has been such a tremendous help throughout my college years, and I am forever grateful for the tutoring and guidance I was able to receive through this organization. Ever since my freshman year (currently a junior), this program has helped my friends and I succeed in some of the most difficult classes at SDSU. Accounting 201 & 202, Econ 101 & 102, Math 120, and Fin 323 are just some of the classes I have received tutoring for. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with his or her studies--not only in mathematics but in any course you’re having trouble in. I am now on the Dean’s List and active in a few academic clubs on campus, and I wouldn’t be here without the help of MathWizJohn’s! -AhnaMia Business Major SDSU

Ms. Alexis is an excellent tutor and over all kind person. Both of my teenager daughters, whom didn't want a tutor, worked very well with Alexis. During my girls down time, together she as well as my daughters completed some house chores as well. My girls grades improved, their confidence w/ their studies improved, and they were over all had a more positive attitude. My girls no longer seemed shy or hesitant to work on their math. Alexis is compassionate, kind, patient, flexible, responsible, and very reliable. Thank you Alexis for all of your hard work!

We hired Angela in September to tutor our 10-year-old son. Immediately, we were impressed with how well she got along with him. The first session, he asked if she could stay longer! Throughout several months of Angela working with our son, we have been very pleased with her flexibility of scheduling (sometimes we had to change dates and times due to afterschool appointments), punctuality, and reliability. We learned that when Angela says she will show up, she does on time and ready to get to work. Whenever we needed to get in touch with her, Angela was available by text or phone call, and she responded promptly. She also gave us valuable feedback on how the tutoring session went, so that we could address any issues immediately. Our son's test scores have improved and we couldn't be happier. We have tried other tutors Angela is the best!
