Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with several personal trainers and Markshane is the best I have found. The routines are tailored for my body and fitness level and each routine is different. The custom routines, keep you motivated and are targeted for your specific body needs. Markshane is tough, but professional and personable. He takes a special interest in your fitness goals. The recommendation is really in the results and I have seen the results. After just a few weeks, I have lost weight and can see my body becoming fit and tone all over. I am now performing workouts that I did not know I was capable of doing and gaining strength as I watch the positive changes in my body. Shape Up Studio comes highly recommended by me.
I’m so thankful for Megan! Her classes are fun but challenging. She will hold you accountable but also has realistic expectations and truly wants to see you succeed! Her classes and home workouts are tough but doable, and she always checks in to see how you are doing/feeling. The personalized nutrition plan is great and leaves room for flexibility while still making healthy choices. I can honestly say I am never hungry. Megan’s help has been worth every (very reasonably priced) penny!

JJ makes a rugged workout interesting and fun. He keeps my energy up and, while I can't say the time flies by, he entertains the group with his upbeat attitude so it's not too tough. Definitely could see results, too.

I really appreciated your time and patience with me in every session. It takes time for me to write this review since English is not my first language, and it's difficult for me to describe my wonderful experience with Tom thru this messages. However, I will try my best. If you are looking for an expert, punctual, spectacular and fantastic personal trainer, don't hesitate to contact Tom. It might sounds exaggerate when you are keep reading this review, however; please allow me explain this clearly. I though I might have same experience with you guys, otherwise; you would not found this review. I never ever feel like I want to go workout...why? 1. I don't know how to start 2. I feel unconfident 3. I don't know how to use the machine 4. I don't want other people look at me 5. I don't have motivation....million reasons I could write down. I believe you might feel the same way as I did. I was a member of a huge fitness center and paid silly money for 20x private training session. I barely see how different when I first started and last session. First time, I met Tom, he absolutely changed the game. He listened to me, explained how I could achieve my goal and boost my confident. My sessions are never predictable. Tom always give me a challenge, fresh and fun workout. You will never get bored when you see him. He changed, adapted and tried new exercise positions to help me go through a tough session. He encourage and gave a technique which is very helpful. I always feel time flies fast when I workout with Tom. Soreness is a gift, but you will see a wonderful result. Unfortunately, I have to relocated, I don't know how could I find another him again. Finding a personal trainer is not difficult, but finding a personal trainer that be honest and give you a "friendship" might take a lifetime period. I'm lucky enough to found one. Sarah
I was referred to Colby by one of my closest friends who spoke very highly of him. It took some time to convince me but after seeing her transformation from working out with him, I was sold. He coaches me on nutrition and shows me how to work out when Im not training with him. During my workout sessions, he tunes all distractions away and focuses on me by ensuring Im getting the best work out and that Im doing it properly. He holds me accountable of my diet which is something that I never had to do before and provides positive reinforcement to ensure I stay on track. Because of my training with Colby, I can now be a good example to my daughter. She enjoys watching me get thinner because we get to do more fun things together. Im so happy that Colby is helping me get my life back.
When it comes to personal care, Freddy cannot be beat. I was a tough nut to crack. My goal was to loose weight and improve my overall level of fitness. I thought HE could do it for me and all I had to do was continue training. You probably know how that goes! But finally, with his unrelenting encouragement, I began to see the light. Commitment came slowly but voila, the more I committed, the more I began to achieve my goals. While he has a firm training style, he is never harsh. He encourages your achievements and helps you SEE when you fall off the path, which we all do occasionally. Most importantly, his training style is whole body integrating correct sleeping habits with healthy and informed nutritional habits in addition to safe and effective resistance training free of typical gym machines. He gets my praise, especially for his patience. Thanks Freddy!!!!
Erica is knowledgeable in body mechanics and weight lifting. She is a tough coach and the same time very perceptive . She knew when to push me and when to back off. She got me in excellent shape and condition. My 'I can do anything attitude ' soared training under Erica.
There are many trainers who can whip their clients into shape. Missy can, without a doubt, but she brings something of much greater value to the lives of her clients. I have never met a trainer as committed to ensuring that clients feel better, and that they understand the science behind specific movements, particularly the ones that are best for their body. I came to Missy with some pretty bad alignment issues, which had resurfaced many years after a spinal surgery. She listens intently, responds with a wealth of knowledge, and went the extra mile with research for my case. I know I'm in excellent hands. Missy's approach is iterative, she consistently adjusts and tailors my program based on how my body responds. This has proved to be an interesting lesson for me in learning to listen to my body. For example, I had no idea just how much I had been compensating in certain movements but thanks to Missy I have learnt how to correct it. Admittedly it's a work in progress, but it feels great. I started feeling results shortly into my training with Missy, and have noticed a visible difference since. Missy's knowledge and understanding about movement is as important to me as her ability and keenness to share that knowledge. She's a great trainer and teacher with amazingly high energy levels and a genuine compassion for people. She can put together a really tough work out, she will encourage you all the way through it, and she never lets you get away with shoddy form. My experience with Missy has been nothing short of fantastic, and I cannot begin to recommend her enough.
I have been working out with Lynda for 3 weeks so far and I already feel fitter and stronger. Her workouts are fun yet tough and I like that she's always changing it up. Great full body resistance and cardio workouts! I recommend her to anyone.
Roger has the unique ability to send me to workout hell, in a way that makes me look forward to the trip! Tough Love! This guy knows how to get results... even from a whiner like me. In the month I've been working with Ray he's taken the time to explain the "why" behind each movement and to help me figure out what weight is healthy for me to move with the limitations I have. He always answers questions thoughtfully and with real knowledge (not the "I think" bs you'd get at a big box gym) and his sense of humor serves as a great encouragement when you're struggling through a tough workout. I told him the other day "You're really good at telling people what they're bad at." and it's true in the best way possible. Ray will help you get in shape, move better, think about why you should move better, and you'll laugh at least once.
Will is the instructor of the Crossfit classes for my company in Escondido. He is here for an hour class 3 days a week. We LOVE him! He is a great instructor, and he knows his stuff! We're a pretty tough crowd and he gets us motivated and we keep coming back for more. He adjusts the workout if someone needs him to, and corrects any movements we do that might hurt us. He's a great trainer!
I have been training with Marcia since January 2015. She is very knowledgeable about weight training and nutrition. Her work outs are tough but she makes it fun by mixing things up. I've had many trainers in the past but didn't see the results I have with Marcia.
Colette made our training sessions fun and seemingly effortless. Whether I needed to get rid of pent up energy with some kickboxing or a more zen yoga session, we worked hard and I felt revived after our 6.30am starts. I've not found the same combination of personality, toughness, laughter, enthusiasm since she left the South of France. California doesn't know how lucky it is!
Abtin is an amazing trainer! He's tough on me and always encourages me to do better. He is very hard working and will push you to be at your best. I've been working with Abtin for only two short months and im very happy with my body now. Im 9 pounds lighter, still losing weight and gaining muscle! And I feel fantastic! I Definitely recommend Abtin as a personal trainer.
I'm one of Nick's first clients and I have to say Nick is very professional, knowledgeable of the body and how it works, proper training techniques and gets you the results you want. He's tough, but you won't be disappointed. In my first 2 weeks, I lost 7 lbs. Nick has a flexible schedule and is also reasonably priced. He's the best!
I was 36 years old playing baseball in an 18+ league. My performance was slipping fast and I thought my playing career was coming to a close. Then my high school friend Nate stepped in. With his help with workouts, recovery and Advocare supplements, I'm back to being one of the better pitchers in the league now at 39! Highly recommended. He does a great job of training and getting you to the correct supplements.
Stephanie is great! She's tough on you which is what I needed for pre-wedding toning, but she is also extremely personable and sweet! Always on time! Would recommend without a doubt!
I have been training with Kalina for 4 years now. I had gone through a divorce and let myself go…physically, emotionally/mentally, and spiritually. In desperation and nearing a size 16, I joined 24 hour fitness and met Kali, who would help me turn my life around. I didn’t know it at the time and thought I was only there to improve myself physically. Little did I know, Kali would impact every facet of my life in which I needed help! Through the physical improvement (she helped me lose 35 pounds, trim down to a size 4 and wear a bikini for the first time since I was 10!), I gained a confidence I never had. She also became a great friend and life coach who helped me (without judgement) through some tough times and also guided me when times were good! With her help, I have become the person I never thought I would be! I am in better shape than I was at 20, in all aspects!
