Ii have been looking for a classical guitar instructor for quite some time now and I feel very fortunate to have found Bill Jones. His knowledge and experience shines through in his instruction. I have been playing the guitar for just over a year and felt as though I had a great deal of knowledge, but had a hard time applying it. In just our first session, Bill was provided me with the tools to create more productive practice sessions. Just after two days, I can see positive results from my studies. I highly recommend Bill. Thanks again

Very personable guy. At your first lesson, discuss your objectives. No teacher is ideal for every student, and Scott's patient encouragement will be magic for some and frustrating for others.

The voice teacher was great! She found my weak points and we began working on them right away. I look forward to seeing my improvement in 6 months.

Very knowledgeable guitar teacher. He's been undoing all of my bad habits, and my skill has skyrocketed since I started taking lessons from him. He is also very flexible around my schedule which is a huge plus. Victor was a referral from friends of ours who bring their kids to him for piano lessons, and he as by far exceeded my expectations.

Anthony is always 100% professional, and his patience and musical knowledge make for a superb learning experience for his students. He and I were band mates, and even in that setting, he was a natural teacher!

The resources available in my studio are truly amazing, from all the instruments to amazing software on the computer. I first studied electronic music at SDSU in 1980. A lot has changed then and I've continued to develop my skills along with all the technological developments.

    About

I take teaching seriously, and expect the same diligence and discipline from my students. There are things most musicians know, and these are the tools I will make sure you have before you walk out of my door. Beyond standard technical know how, I can take a student in any direction they want to go. I was a scholarship recipient for jazz in college, have toured nationally with rock/pop/folk groups, and have been a classical percussion soloist in many concerts. I teach piano, ukulele, percussion, and drums.

    About

My instrumental lessons are all song based and improvisations, which means students learn songs they like, and/or create their own music by having lessons with me. Most of the music teachers out there only teach you to read sheet music or tabs to practice. I had lessons like that when I was young, and it took me forever just to learn one song. Hence I figured out how to play songs by ear, do arrangements by myself so the practice time is reduced like 80% or more, and I can teach my students to do it just like I do. This also helps students read sheet music faster too, as they understand the magic behind it by learning the way I teach them.
