Hannah with Red Letter Events is absolutely amazing and she was completely essential for our wedding day and prior. We hired Hannah as a day-of coordinator to ensure all the vendors were received, the venue was set up, and everything ran smoothly; however, she provided assistance long before the wedding day with vendor contact, timeline planning and support. On the wedding day, 3 hours before the event start, our DJ texted me and was not able to make our event. Within 35 minutes exactly, Hannah assisted with lining up another DJ, sent him our song list and timeline of events. If it wasn't for Hannah, we would have been without a DJ! Now I understand why EVERYONE needs a coordinator on their wedding day. I can't stress that enough!!! After the wedding, I received feedback from our other vendors mentioning how much they loved working with Hannah. The venue owner wants her for every event! Hannah has now become like a friend to us and I would confidently 100% recommend Hannah for any event planning and support. Thank you Hannah for everything!!
Christina did a fantastic job with our day-of coordination. She met with us at the venue well prior to the wedding, handled our rehearsal, and coordinated the ceremony and reception seamlessly. She handled breakdown and cleanup after the reception so we could leave for the after party, and we received our full deposit back from the venue (San Diego Botanic Garden). She had a crew, which helped since our wedding was 180 people. She also has a talent for crafts - she made very nice signs for the wedding, and she knew exactly how to arrange the table decorations. We highly recommend her!

From the start, Megan was very attentive and responsive to our needs and vision for our dream wedding. My husband and I had a 350-guest wedding, which is a task in itself, but it was also an Indian wedding, which are filled with very detailed traditions and separate events within the wedding itself. I had started planning for the wedding a year in advance, and quickly realized I needed help. Our wedding was in San Diego and both my husband and I lived in two different states. I knew that PartySpark was a startup company and that they had no Indian wedding experience, but after speaking with Megan, I knew she understood what I was looking for. We decided to hire PartySpark about 6 months before the wedding and now I can't even imagine what we would have done without Megan and her team. She was able to put us at ease about the whole planning process. She coordinated FaceTime meetings, meetings with my husband when he was in town, vendor walk-throughs, and kept constant communication through email. Honestly, a bride's biggest concern is communication and organization with the planner. I always felt in sync with Megan and she always kept me in the loop of what was going on. From that 6 months onward, I did not once question the organization of my wedding. Even my bridal party had great things to say about PartySpark's communication and organization, as Megan kept them in the loop through emails. The day of the wedding was a dream. Everything went smoothly and Megan made sure everything ran on time. My uncles and aunts (Indian relatives can be extremely critical) were saying that this was the first wedding they've been to where the bride and groom looked so relaxed and all the events were on time. We were relaxed because we knew everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. I HIGHLY recommend PartySpark to anyone planning their event. Meghan was amazing! she went above and beyond to help get our wedding ready in a short period of time. We had big issues with our venue and she helped get us out of that contract and into an even better venue that ended up saving us a lot of money! I would recommend her to any bride who feels overwhelmed. She made everything come together smoothly and on my wedding day I hardly worried about anything. Everything was beautiful and exactly what we wanted it to be. if I could give her more than 5 stars, I definitely would! ð
I met Arnie back in December of 2014. The company I work for hired him to do our holiday party, he was amazing, professional and honest. In April of this year (2015) I got engaged and Arnie was my first contact. I knew from having worked with him in the past that he would deliver and make my day spectacular. He and his wife Ashley are top notch people. They met with me many many times to discuss details, to do mock ups of tables, they offered to help where ever possible. We were in constant contact to the point where I felt like I was being a pest but they assured me that I was not and that the more details I provided the better they could execute the wedding according to my vision. They helped me avert crisis and provided feedback as well as advise on how to move forward with certain decisions. They handled everything, from managing the caterers to the staff they provided, to the picking up of all my decorations, to installing the decorations. They provided all the necessary set-up and clean-up. Believe me it was a tough job and on an extremely hot day - all the while they were working hard to make my event as awesome as could be, they did it with huge smiles on their faces, and positive attitudes. Not once bringing to me any issues. They delegated and controlled. If it we're for these two and their amazing staff my wedding would have been paper plates and plastic forks - coolers and foil pans. Even as the event was going on I asked for a change to be made and they were on it right away. The team that they have put together is great. They were seamless in their execution and if I had any issues (which I did not) they would have been on it before I could say another word. They made sure that my husband and I ate, bringing us our plates already made, and they allowed us time into the reception space to take it all in before we invited our guests in. The best thing that they said to me during this journey, and it was a journey, was "it will go by so fast, take a moment for the two of you and take it all in. Take in all the blood sweat and tears that went into everything you have done, pat yourselves on the back for a job well done, because if you don't take it all in before it's disturbed by your guests it can't ever be undone and you can never have that visual" we certainly did just that, but their accomplishments overshadowed the work I had done - and this is not at all a complaint it's a huge complement because they made what I did shine in a way I don't think I could have. These people came into my life as business owners, providing a service, but by the end, they became family. We love you guys! Please consider them for your event. They will not disappoint.
I strongly recommend booking Rhonda before even thinking about planning your wedding in San Diego. She is top notch. We recently worked with her on a clients wedding. She was very knowledgeable throughout the process and always available. On top of it all she is really nice. Rhonda is now my go to person in the wedding industry in San Diego. She knows the ins and outs of wedding venues and vendors. She is well worth the money.
Regardless of what event we will be planning in the future, Porsia will be the person planning it! She gave 100% to every part of our wedding process, and made us feel like her highest priority. She guided us through everything from choosing a venue almost a year in advance, to paying our vendors on the night of the wedding. We wanted to be more hands-off through the process, but she was diligent about consistently keeping us in the loop. She heard every word we had to say, and validated all of our ideas (regardless of how crazy they seemed). She even checked in and reminded us about items that we took responsibility for like choosing the dress and buying bridal party gifts! The best part of having Porsia for our planner is that she was able to take our unconventional venue, that even our parents questioned, and turn it into a location we would have had to pay 10x more for somewhere else. She truly made our wedding dreams come true. Hire her!
Diane was amazing helpful in finding the perfect venue for my husbands retirement party from the United States Marine Corps. She offered many ideas and provided feedback to many of my ideas, as well. The event turned out beautifully! My husband was very pleased with the outdoor venue which was perfect, the food, the bar service and the other services were exactly as quoted. Diane was able to keep evetything completely within my budget for which I am thankful. Diane continued to work around the military theme with a great concern for military standards when considering placement of decor, award displays, and photos. Diane will be my go to all my events!
Kayla was a dream to work with! We hired her from out of state for a destination wedding in San Diego and I am so thankful we found her on Thumbtack! She made herself available via email, phone calls, text, and Skype and made sure our day was exactly how we planned it. What a great vendor! We loved working with Lace and Likes as they were very positive and easy to work with. They dropped off the rentals on time and in an orderly fashion to our wedding venue.
