- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Clean and minimal design, and references. Make sure to review his/her portfolio and see if their style aligns with yours. As much as designer may claim to be able to adapt, to clients' needs, his/her personal style may still overwhelm the general look and feel you might have in mind.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am a mid-century furniture collector, restorer, and reseller, and love everything "Atomic". I live in a restored "Atomic Ranch" with a wonderful view of the downtown San Diego. Sunsets from here are outstanding! I built metal wall art, and have over 30 clients all over the world. I am a big fan of energy efficiency, environment, and sustainable lifestyle in general. I am also a LEED accredited professional, and have MBA in Energy Management, which allows me to consult in the field quite frequently.
