FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not charge by the hour, because I am not out to get as much money from you as possible. At the end of the day you should not be charged additional prices for something I thought I could get done in an hour, but ends up taking me 2. At the beginning of our relationship we set out a specified payment and what all the package will entail. We agree on the number of face to face meetings, how much planning I will be a part of, as well as any vendor coordination I will handle and I am always available via email. After that there is no more discussion of price unless you decide to add on additional meetings (like 3-4 more) or would like an additional day of assistant. All in all I am not here to gouge you and try any get more than what we discuss. I am here for you form start to finish.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let me buy you coffee. That's right, let's meet face to face and make sure we mesh. It's not just important that the event planner you choose gives you the best price, but that you both get a long and have a similar style. The last thing you want is to work with someone that just doesn't "get you". After our initial meeting we begin the full process. I create a customized design for your event (base doff the details discussed in our first meeting) as well as a proposed timeline. We meet again and then from there it's just simply pointing a finger and saying yes or no to the array of vendors I present and ideas. At the end of the day I am always working for you and trying to get you the best value out of what you're wanting. New customers are my favorite, so bring it on and let me buy you a coffee (or tea!)!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Hospitality Management and Event Planning. I have also worked with numerous event planning companies from Alabama, Tennessee, and San Diego. Altogether I have over 4 years of experience in wedding planning and 3 years in corporate events.
