- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have loved party planning since my girls (who are now young adults), were children. I used to plan and prepare their Birthday Parties, which we usually held at a local city park. I color coordinated the entire party, from decorations all the way down to tableware and party favor, cake, and their 'Birthday Attire'. My 'fully loaded loot bags' were always a hit. We played fun, old fashioned and simple party games from the past, the children and adults as well loved them! The guests often commented on my creativity and would 'jokingly' (but yet in a serious kind of way), ask me to 'keep them on my guest list'. Many have commented over the years, 'You should start your own party business, you are very good at what you do.' So there it began.....
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire me at least once! I will prove myself to you.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That it is a unique business and I have heard many people comment after hearing what I do, 'I sure wish that I had known of you and the services that you provide when I had prepared my 'Special Events', as I really could have used someone like 'you', "I would have saved myself a lot of stress, and had more time to spend with my guests and more time to have enjoyed the party".
