I was recently referred by a friend to try a bootcamp of Impact Fitness and I was not disappointed! The trainers were very knowledgable and energized which made the workouts fun and challenging. We started out with some warm-up exercises, and spent the next hour working out our arms, legs, abs, everything! It was definitely a total body workout, and I felt great when I left! The trainers absolutely rocked! They were extremely tuned in to everyone's individual needs, modifying or increasing the difficulty as needed. I'd definitely recommend this team of trainers to anyone interested in making a stride in their personal fitness. Im looking forward to the next bootcamp!
I don't know if he still hands out these workout packages but I have purchased "paper trainers" in the past and what it is, is simply workout written out taylored just for you and your personal fitness goals. I love these because I already go to the gym. I just never know what to lift or how to lift for the results that I want. If I want to lift for strength, the workouts are taylored with exercises and workouts that are focused and making you stronger. If I want to increase my muscle mass and size, Gabe will have the workouts consist of lifting exercises that will increase your mass and size. I absolutely love them. In addition, I have had one on one training as well and they were awesome! Gabe has a nack for pushing people to their physical potential and expects nothing but 100% effort. The one on one sessions typically last about an hour or so. What I was extremely impressed with was the results and the professional customer service. Gabe really does a good job of doing his homework on his clients first before he comes up with the workouts. He asks, what are your goals, food diet(very specific), how many days a week you plan to workout, and past fitness experience(have you lifted before, do you play sports, etc). With Gabes workouts, I gained 25lbs of muscle. I used to weigh 125lbs and now I weigh 150lbs. It's hard to find something for the company to improve when I've had such good results and experience from the workouts. I guess if I had to pick one, maybe run more workout package specials. Not being as financially secure as I'd like to be, it is hard sometimes to afford the packages but they are well worth the prices.
This is the perfect place to come to get fit. My usual MO is sign up for fitness classes or trainers, get pushed really hard and give up in a week or two. Youniquely has a different style from other trainers, bootcamps and fitness classes I have taken. The training is truly uniquely fitted to your needs and accelerated or decelerated based on how you are doing and whether you want to or not. This is the difference between buying a dress that is mass-produced vs getting a custom fitted gown!!

Charlie's classes are the best thing that's ever happened in my fitness life. After years of under-utilized gym club memberships, random bootcamps, inconsistent running routines, a pregnancy and a growing frustration at my repeated failed attempts to establish a sustainable fitness lifestyle... I finally got my Eureka moment! The answer was to be found in my neighborhood tiny gym. Three times a week, I find in Charlie's small classes (typically between 3 and 7 participants) more personal attention than in any conventional gym classes and more camaraderie than in a personal training session. Charlie is no-nonsense, knowledgeable and friendly. He knows how to keep us motivated and engaged. His workouts are always different and appropriately challenging. Over the past 7 months, I have been noticing a steady increase in my strength and stamina. I have also been observing my body slowly change in all the right places, and my confidence grow. Worth every penny!
Description of the job: Domingo is a personal and a group trainer at a gym I go to. He teaches Bootcamp with different variations of workout that focuses on the whole body. What went well: I have been taking his class for several months now, and I feel the difference in my body. He is by far one of the best fitness trainers I work with, considering his variations of workout will guarantee that you will feel sore the next day. What impressed me most about his service is that he goes above and beyond the workout; he does not simply do regular push ups and curl ups, but he adds workouts with a twist, in which I am always excited for these challenges.
Jelena is an incredibly positive and energetic coach. I have been doing boot camp workouts with her for over three years. She will mix it up if you ask her!
Let me tell my story. I was looking for place where I can challenge my body and relax my brain. From the bagging I felt that this place is THE PLACE. 7 am bootcamp is really hard for non-morning person. After first 2 weeks, I started feeling more energy during the day. So mornings are not that bad. Next big thing for was a Tough Mudder run. Lori believed in me and helped to prepare. I finished it. 14 miles up/down Tahoe Northstar Ski resort, 20+ obstacles, 1 ice bath(google Arctic Enema), 2 electroshock etc. Next month I was playing volleyball and completely torn my ACL. With Lori's help I successfully went thru rehab. She is amazing educated coach. Lori knows everything about human body and muscles, diets and nutritions etc. My nutritionist told my exactly the same as Lori did a couple months earlier. After 1 year I lost about 30 pounds and 4 sizes :) So if you are willing to work hard and achieve a results this is a right place.
Cameron is a very fun, well qualified trainer who brings a lot of energy and diversity to your workout! I've done both a bootcamp that he instructed at Lynch Fitness, and a one-on-one training session. With both of these he was helpful in instruction, teaching, and motivation. Can't wait to continue training with him! Outstanding job!
Ron Capurso is an amazing trainer. The depth of his knowledge and experience is evident in the quality programs he puts together and the professional coaching style he leads with. His programs get you results. I have been training with Ron for over 2.5 years now. A longtime fitness enthusiast, I was impressed with Ron from the beginning. I originally started with Ron in his Adult Bootcamp class, looking for a way to tone up, and improve my running. Within 2 weeks I was feeling and seeing results. Eventually I progressed to personal training, wanting to take my fitness to the next level. His tailor made programs have gotten me incredible results, led to many running PRs, and overall strength and athletic gains. Ron's programs get results and I look forward to them each week, as they are never the same. I can't recommend him enough!
Dan has been an awesome trainer for the the somewhat medium-small group we have. He's been coming to us for a couple of months now for bootcamp style workouts and he has made things a lot of fun. Dan demonstrates each exercise and is quick to make modifications for the group or for individuals as needed. We workout in limited space and he is always conscious of that when adjusting our circuits. He always changes our rotation so we are never doing the same thing week after week and each session seems to focus on a different muscle group while still giving us a great overall workout. Dan is very encouraging as we workout and will accept/incorporate challenges or suggestions we might have for him. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a good trainer.
My husband and I (both in our late twenties) have never seriously considered having a personal trainer, however Marylou has been so awesome to work with that we have decided to continue on with our training. We originally signed up for one month to help me safely gain back leg and core muscle after a lengthy knee surgery recovery. While we both have very different goals and needs (My husband has been focused on upper body / core.), Marylou has put together awesome programs for both of us that have us seeing results after just one month of working with her! Shes also been able to swing it so that we arrive together, and one does their workout while the other focuses on cardio/ stretching and then we switch. This has been great because it allows us to go together, even though we are at different places and focus on different areas. On a personal level, shes been great to work with and is very supportive during the workouts. Shell push you, but safely and with support. Shes also just fun to hang out with ? Our experience has included: Initial meet and greet where she does a body / posture assessment. (Bonus points for focusing on posture!) Youll also do a light workout to gage where you are. Discussion of personal goals and some areas she thinks you should focus on as well. From there, she puts together a program specific to you. We honestly cannot say enough great things. If youre considering starting a personal training program we highly recommend meeting with Marylou for an assessment!
Adventure Boot Camp is the most incredible way to lose weight that you will ever experience - it is completely addicting and a positive overall experience. In only one year after having 2 babies I have dropped 90 pounds and I am even skinner now than I was before I got pregnant with my first son. I feel stronger than I ever have in my entire life and bootcamp gives me an overall happy attitude every day of my life. You will not be disappointed in the results!!
I joined Kelly's bootcamp last summer, and then added her Sunday Body Blast class at her home gym to my routine. Kelly is an awesome coach, and super knowledgeable about fitness. She has guided me through my fitness journey, as well as helping me revamp my nutrition. Since last June, I have lost 20 pounds and two pants sizes! I look and, more importantly, feel so much better, and much of that success is due to Kelly. She's so fun and personable, it's like meeting up with a good friend to work out with, but one that will kick your butt and make you happy you showed up! I can't say enough about her skills as a fitness trainer, and her awesome bootcamp!

I started out with a 6-wk Groupon deal and wasn't sure that I'd even like bootcamp (bc it's challenging to find any workout that I look forward to doing or going to) ~ before I even bought the Groupon I called MyFitness. I let Danny know what my fitness goals were to see what he advised for me and he was responsive and knowledgeable. It's been 5 months since then and I'll have to admit that I have a new addiction to bootcamp and MyFitness has a major part in that (in a healthy way) ~ the level of energy that I've gained from it on a daily basis, better sleep at night, the loss of fat & leaning out with muscle, the ever-changing variety in each class (I get bored with too much uniform repetition in general, plus I don't have to spend my energy on making up the exercises myself...just leave it up to Danny and he comes through to give his clients great outcomes) and the changes that I can feel and see in myself!! MyFitness integrates a mixture of cardio, strength training and TRX suspension exercises, which has CONSISTENTLY given me the ultimate results of being 2/3's closer to my goal which I haven't been able to get with any other workout without my development plateauing by this time (and I have done my research and tried a bunch)! Danny also pays attention to each of his clients to push them and encourage them at each of their levels. He is sarcastically funny and keeps the group fun while getting a refreshing workout that doesn't gets old. I also re-injured an old injury from a car accident during this time and my chiropractor says that the strengthening that I gained from bootcamp is mainly what benefit me in healing quicker than average time....on top of that, my friends and family can see a major difference not only in my appearance but in my energy too. The most important part is that I feel better and stronger after each bootcamp! Morning bootcamp with Rich is an amazing way to start any day - be it before work or on your day off. His routines range from mild to rigorous and his gentle yet firm guidance keep you pushing yourself to the end. I highly recommend his 6am class for a feel-good-beginning to your day and the Saturday 9am class for a more challenging workout.
