This was the best moving experience I've ever had! I've had to move every summer for seven or eight years, and was exhausted by repeating the process over and over. However, Larro's Company and movers made things much easier, more efficient, and less damaging than any other moving experience I've had. The movers (Edgar, Jose, and Marcos) were friendly and professional, and did the work much more quickly and efficiently than I had thought possible. They clearly had a strategy for how to best move, load, and unload so that the process would be quick (and I could feel like I'm getting my money's worth!). They also took special care to wrap and cover everything that might be damaged, even though I did not ask them to, and there were no damages to the furniture or to the properties upon leaving and entering. They were also totally amenable to my bizarre packing strategies ( I had a lot of bags and small boxes, and they figured out how to move them all efficiently by stacking them into clothing boxes). They also had no problems following and agreeing to my complex directions and needs (I needed to move part of my apartment to a new apartment, and the rest to someone else's house -- 20 miles away). Edgar and his team were quick to understand exactly what I needed, and did the job effectively and efficiently. Next time I move, I will definitely be hiring them again!
Professional, friendly and understanding- the pod arrived late and they wanted to pick the pod up early so the movers had to work quickly and they did!

Steve the owner was great with his communication. They were fast, careful and efficient. Only thing I would recommend is if that British guy (one of the movers) would be nicer and more courteous. He was not that nice. Steve and the other guy was very accommodating and nice.
I hired harp for hanging art and moving love seat from sf to napa, my movers cancelled on me at last min on Sunday 23rd july. I found harp from Craigslist and he showed up in 30 min. When He brought love seat to napa I found I had a wrong key, he was at napa at 10 pm, it was my blunder but he really cool guy and offered his servicd to go back to sf and bringing a right key, we went back to sf and briougt right key. He also finished hanging art at my new apartment at midnight, he did not charge me either for extra driving to sf. ! What a cool guy. I am writing this review not only he is professional and know what he is doing but also he is a kind man
My original movers cancelled on us the day we were set to move. I called D&J moving that morning and they were at the house within 2 hours. Very responsive and saved the day! They were quick and meticulous about the job. Great people to work with. I would highly recommend them for any of your moving needs.
I highly recommend Ddt movers! They ensured our move went smoothly and didn't mind staying an hour longer because we had so much stuff and underestimated the time. It was really impressive to see how easy they made our move look! :-)
I had a great experience with these guys. They care about the quality of their work, and they have good hearts. The move was in a timely manner, reasonably priced, and with only 1% margin of error on damages (good for movers). I would highly recommend them.
This was my first time trying to hire a professional via Thumbtack platform and it was a very good experience. After submiting the request, I received 3 quotes from different movers, and Pavel was one of them. He stood out among the three because of his responsiveness and reasonable price. Before hiring him, I was a bit concerned given that he had only one review before. But Im glad that I decided to hire him. Pavel was very careful with my stuffs, especially my computer (they also provided a small blanket to cover my table top) He was flexible as well when I asked him if he could stop by Ikea and Living Spaces store for me to pick up some furniture. Overall, I give Pavel and his crew 5 stars for their professionalism. I'll definitely contact him again for future move
We had a whole garage and yard full of trash from a recent remodel. Vyron was very pleasant and trustworthy. He was here on time, and not only loaded up all the trash they also swept out the garage and left it spotless. I made sure to get his business card because I will definitely be calling him again. I highly recommend Vyron as he goes above and beyond.
I hired MP Movers (Marquiz) to assemble a 6 drawer IKEA dresser. He arrived right on time and was very polite. The dresser came in 3 different boxes which had to be moved downstairs to my daughter's room, which he did for me. He was so conscientious that at one point the instructions didn't match the materials and he brought this to my attention. He quoted me a flat fee and stuck to that. All in all, I couldn't have been happier and I will definitely hire MP Movers again. I highly recommend Marquiz and MP Movers.
Used Zhong Xin Moving Company yesterday and they were simply excellent. They arrived exactly on time and the 3 movers that came worked incredibly fast and took great care of protecting the furniture. During the whole move I didn't see them taking any breaks. They went up and down stairs with no complaint. It has been my best experience with a moving company. There are also no hidden costs. For 3 movers it was $120/hour + $20 for diesel. That's it, nothing else. I highly recommend using this company for efficiency, professionalism and a great price.
Very friendly and efficient movers. We already had everything packed into boxes and bags, but they took care of wrapping all the furniture, loading/unloading everything, and disassembling/reassembling the bed. They did a great job protecting the furniture, everything arrived at our new place in perfect condition. Armando was also very flexible with scheduling our move at the last minute. We will definitely hire them again for any future moves!
I am needing to upgrade and review my wardrobe to increase my level of professionalism. I called on Madison for her help in going through my closet with me. The plan was to see what I might no longer need and to determine how appropriate my current clothing is for my job. We really covered a wide range of topics: She discussed with me the 4 color harmony system, her guess as to what my season was and a book that would give me the specifics regarding both color and even appropriate styles for each season. We reviewed each article of clothing to determine how much I liked it and wore it similar to the techniques Madison adheres to from Kondo's THE MAGIC OF TIDYING UP and whether it should be kept or donated. She developed a system whereby I put together a 24 hour pile for donation so I could really think about what I wanted and not feel any pressure to disgard or to disgard clothing too quickly. She offered the name of a designer who designed high end clothing similiar to the styles I already enjoy wearing and she sent links to that designer. She suggested I work with a free personal stylist at up to 3 of my local department stores explaining to me how best to work with them. She researched and located a well known city consultant for me to use as a resource if or in addition to the retail agents. We spent about 2.5 hours with few breaks and I learned that I could upgrade my current clothing simply by accessorizing more completely and what types of simple scarves and jewelry might be recommended or that I could discuss with a personal shopper. Although Madison is not a personal shopper she has decades of experience having had her own colors "done", having taken many seminars on "dressing for success" and years of personally networking with other business people. She has also pointed out that we've gone from a dress for success orientation to a significantly more casual orientation and yet professionalism is still important and can be achieved by weight of fabrics and accessories. She pointed out that just a few additional pieces like "real business pants vs jeans" could make all the difference so I didn't have to replace everything in my closet. She is fashion conscious and also budget oriented. What I enjoyed most about working with her is her positive disposition and her obvious passion for what she does. She has very strong detail orientation, high energy, a fabulous sense of humor and a real interest in my point of view. I really appreciate her ability to quickly find appropriate resources and websites for further research. I also have also witnessed her working on others clients and decluttering an entire floor to closet assembly and she is completely amazing. I highly recommend her for any project in the realm of wardrobe assessing & advising, decluttering, organizing, packing / unpacking and beyond. We had a great experience with Sam. My boyfriend and I were in a bind with our piano - we needed to move it to another room in our apartment ASAP and discovered Saturday that it would be impossible without professional movers. I found Sam and he responded almost immediately (on a Saturday!) that he would be able to come the following day (a Sunday!). He was there on time with one other guy, and they did an excellent job wrapping up the piano, putting it on its side, and navigating it through our narrow San Francisco hallway and around corners to the other room. They were SUPER fast too - in and out in ten minutes! Overall we were very happy and would definitely hire them again. Thank you!!
I used Mulea at Bayside Moving and was extremely impressed. Having used multiple movers throughout the years, I had tempered expectations. However, this was the best moving experience I ever had. My job had a tight timetable so I built in a large buffer into my bid. Not only did Bayside come on time, they were early by 10 minutes! Their communication was supurb and texted the day before and also called before arriving. The driver worked fast and was really friendly throughout the move. They are a local Oakland based firm and it felt good to support a small business owner.
