- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each closet and cabinet is exclusively designed for you and your unique space and style, so given the many variables (size, materials, finish, accessories, etc.), it is not possible to provide an estimate without a consultation. I offer a short complimentary phone consultation during which I can usually give the client a good idea of the level of investment required for a given project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a short complimentary phone chat or email/text exchange to ensure there is a fit, followed by an in-person meeting to measure the space and discuss project scope, detailed needs, and stylistic direction. There is a design fee or retainer that is due at this time, and is fully applicable to the purchase if the cabinets or closets are to be installed by Valet Custom.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a extensive CAD experience and professional organizing experience, have very diverse project management experience, and interior design experience. Most importantly, I stay in the epicenter of the design world by visiting showrooms regularly, reading avidly about design, and sitting on the board of the Cal North Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
