- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to work with flat fees, rather than using the traditional model of billing hourly. After doing a consultation, I will estimate how much time it will take me and then create a fixed fee based on $280 per hour. This way, there are no surprises for you when the bill comes, and it encourages communication since I will not be charging you for every phone call or email we exchange. Meanwhile, this also cuts back on my administrative burden since I don't have to tally up every minute of billable time.
