Laurel is conducting an English class for a group of our employees who just relocated from Brazil. They have expressed their appreciation for the practical and useful information they are receiving. In fact, they asked that the class be longer which Laurel readily accommodated.

Nicolas worked with my son on his high school math. My son was having a terrible time in his classes, and Nicolas acted as a guide and tutor though the years. He was very patient and understanding, and always arrived on time for the tutoring sessions. In the end, my son wound up with A's and B's in the classes, and was accepted to his first-choice college. Thanks, Nicolas!

Jeff is very nice, humorous and friendly. He is my english tutor right now who is extremely patient on me and pointed out those mistakes I made on grammars while I was speaking. In addition, he is quiet knowledgeable and good at speaking Chinese which is very helpful for me as a Chinese student. I really appreciate that I could found Jeff as my tutor on Thumbtack! Thank you so much!

I needed several of our company business cards translated from English to Arabic. IDESLI and their team of translators worked with me and were able to provide the cards I needed in a variety of formats to make their production much easier. They even proofed the final design cards after they were designed to ensure accuracy and legibility. They were always quick to respond to questions and the overall experience was stress-free. I would highly recommend their services.

Kristen was essential in my English learning process - I practically learned to speak and write in English from her. She's a master of her mother tongue: profound and eloquent. On top of her knowledge, she is able to teach English in an exciting way which makes studying a lot of fun.

Danielle was my first English teacher at a language institute in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Her classes were fun, creative and motivational, especially because she always managed to provide us with the necessary tools to produce language in a meaningful and relevant way. Nowadays, I'm an English teacher myself and, without a doubt, that joyful experience I had when I was just 16 years old made me sure teaching English was what I wanted to do with my life. Needless to say, she was definitely a source of inspiration for me and I'm really happy to do what I do today. Thanks a lot for the classes, they were a lot of fun!

Dave is extremely knowledgeable. Gives great feedback on my progress. Corrects me where I need the attention. I am satisfied with my decision to take up private lessons. These lessons have brought me to a level where I will be able to keep up with instruction once my class at DVC begins in August.

Christina Moyle: A little over three years ago, Christina swept into our lives like a guardian angel. Neither my wife nor I could any longer give our dog his proper amount of exercise. Our dog, Rascal, loves Christina to death. He yips with his happiest bark when she arrives to take him for his walk. She walks him three days a week for an hour each walk. We grew to like Ms Moyle almost as much as Rascal does. She takes Rascal for a bath every month or so, and he not only enjoys the bath but he also comes home looking like a prize winner at the Westminster Dog Show competition. One could not hope for a better dog walker than Ms Moyle.

Excellent! Gifted Geek has full command of the English language. I am a university student and used ESL and Editing services at Gifted Geek. First, I used the service of editing for a 3000 word thesis. I focused the thesis on children's advocacy in shelters. Gifted Geek, charged the best price on the market. There are three packages to choose from which are all the best prices. I decided to get the most out of the service because I wanted the job done with an extra set of eyes on everything including proofreading, copyediting, and content editing. I got exceptional results. My final result is an "A" on the thesis. To better my English, I decided to take ESL on line with Gifted Geek. I am excited to move to the next stage in life. I recommend Gifted Geek, they can get the job done!

    About

I am based in Cupertino, California, and I specialize in the following: English, Math, Biology and SAT.

    About

I currently attend UC Davis and am employed as a tutor at a top tutoring company that only hires individuals with exceptional tutoring skills, a top SAT score, and a high GPA. I have spent over 500 hours tutoring and received additional tutor training while working at a nonprofit for literacy for 4 years. In addition, I am a founding member of a nonprofit organization that provides tutoring to underprivileged children in various subjects. I provide experienced, individualized tutoring to individuals that need help in language arts, essay writing, and grammatical skills as well as scoring high on their SAT reading and writing, AP English, and AP literature tests that is time efficient. I can also work separately or together as a college adviser in order to perfect your child's undergraduate application to any of the universities or colleges, guide them in creating the most attractive application, and help them produce an unrivaled essay. As a current University of California, Davis student, I personally took the AP English, AP literature, and SAT exams recently (2 years ago), so I have an advantage in knowing exactly what the current tests ask of students as well as what strategies should be learned in order to achieve a score that is highly desirable and sought after by top universities. I know the right methods and tactics to get your child a better score; guaranteed. I also understand what most colleges are looking for in a student, and I can guide your child in writing brilliant essays to get noticed in the midst of tens of thousands of applicants. I have years of teaching experiences from my job as an editor at my high school's award-winning school newspaper, in addition to working at a nonprofit in San Jose and learning exactly how to teach English effectively. My education began in elementary school at the private school Challenger School, where I learned from the best grammar and literature teachers to build my foundation in English. Later on, I went on to attend Leland High School where I was a member of the number one speech and debate team in the nation and first medalist of various speech tournaments, President of the National Honor Society (organization that connects academically achieving students with volunteer opportunities in the community), volunteer of over 500+ hours from tutoring underprivileged children in low income areas, page editor for the award-winning school newspaper The Charger Account, and winner of numerous accolades for my involvement in the community including: Leland High School's Jefferson Award (given to one student once a year for exemplary work in the community) and Senior Recognition Award for Academic Work and Involvement in the Community. My SAT scores in critical reading and writing rank in the 96th percentile in the nation, and I graduated in 2013 in order to attend University of California, Davis as a managerial economics major. I work as a part time tutor to make extra money for college and help fund a non-profit for which I used my expertise in writing to create a business plan for, and I started the organization to help underprivileged children that go to schools with poor reading comprehension in order to provide them with free tutoring in writing and reading. My style of teaching involves importance placed on the basics of grammar, writing, and effective test taking; I believe that once a student has this foundation down, any question on the SAT or AP exams is completely approachable and easy to solve. In juxtaposition with my own personal test-taking strategies, I also implement the same strategies taught at many of the top SAT prep centers to ensure that your child is getting thorough tutoring sessions. For students that need help in English or writing, I lay down the basics for your child, show ways of developing creativity, and teach them how to write effectively and well. I work with your child's talents and provide a very personalized experience that changes dynamically in order to achieve your child's highest potential and give the best tutoring possible.
