- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For all virtual styling services, it will be a dollar a minute. The average styling consultation will be 20 minutes. For in person, it is $50.00 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
She will communicate and coordinate what “type” of styling session will work best. Sophia can accommodate you whether it is closet curating, building a better wardrobe, branding for a photoshoot, treating yourself to red carpet treatment, styling for date night, packing for a trip away, teaching you how to shop, and even undergoing through a life changing makeover, she will be there every step of the way! You and Sophia will set style goals through reviewing and organizing your current situation. Through a personal consultation, your goals will be voiced. Sophia will then teach you how to identify which styles work best with your body type and silhouette. This involves visualizing and understanding your fit, learning about a garments quality, understanding the top trends and knowing when and where to spend your money. Quality > Quantity. Inspiration boards work best when communicating what will work for your lifestyle and preference. At the end of our session, Sophia will put together a visual catalog of your new head to toe ensembles. It will be your visual reference that you can have forever. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sophia Marie has an advanced certificate in Fashion Styling from the Fashion Business Institute located in Sydney Australia. Also currently, she is taking classes for fashion design. This has helped her understand fit, fabrics, quality, and details needed for alterations.
