Evan set me up with Jackie after an initial meeting where we discussed what I'm looking for in a trainer. I've been really impressed with how carefully everyone at Custom Fitness monitors each individual's progress, goals, and health. Jackie makes sure my muscles are properly warmed up before we start adding in heavier weights or movements that require greater flexibility. If I'm not feeling anything in the correct muscle group or if I'm in pain at all, Jackie is quick to offer adjustments and alternate exercises. The priority for everyone at Custom Fit is clearly general health and wellness. They want everyone to meet their goals safely and to understand why it's important to maintain core strength and proper nutrition to get to where you want to be. I'm very excited about continuing my work with them over the next few months.Sep 13, 2018Verified
My first few sessions with Custom Fit have been awesome. I had a great first consultation where I got to develop my fitness goals while learning more about how to maximize my experience with a personal trainer. I’m now in full swing and really enjoying the sessions and how I feel afterwards. Looking forward to keeping this up weekly and seeing the results!Jul 21, 2018Verified
Evan gave me a great overview of how Custom Fit works, and quickly paired me with Aleks. Aleks has been absolutely awesome - she took the time to understand my fitness goals from the outset and has been holding me accountable by working me hard during our sessions and giving me fitness and nutrition goals on our off-days. Can't recommend highly enough!Apr 18, 2018Verified

charges for the consult when no one else does in the PT marketFeb 1, 2018VerifiedEvan M.'s reply
Hello, While we do charge for a consultation unlike some trainers, we find this extra investment allows us the opportunity to find and develop the proper program for our clients. Our consultation process is very thorough and 2 hours long. The first hour is a full health screen focusing on any goals, injuries, health history, nutrition, etc., as well as several movement tests to help determine any muscle imbalances. From there we schedule the second part of the consultation, which is a full hour-long workout. A main reason we take this two-part approach is to allow you to get ample time to see the studio and be comfortable with the training experience prior to any further commitment. We are focused on making sure it’s the right fit. Furthermore, this approach also allows us to see how you move, which helps us greatly in developing the most comprehensive, safe and effective program possible.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Personal Training: 5 sessions - $530 (106/hr) 10 sessions - $990 (99/hr) 20 sessions - $1840 (92/hr) 30 sessions - $2550 (85/hr) Partner Training: 5 sessions - $695 (139/hr) 10 sessions - $1320 (132/hr) 20 sessions - $2500 (125/hr) 30 sessions - $3540 (118/hr)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For new clients interested in personal training it's very important we can accurately deduce any injuries, limitations, goals, nutrition, etc. This is why we offer a two-part intro offer of two sessions. The first session let's us talk through your goals, injuries, nutrition or anything else. This also give us a chance to do several movements to help determine some common imbalances that some people have. However, we can only find out so much about your body from doing simple movement tests, which is part of the reason why we do a second session. The second session will be a real workout that not only gives you a chance to experience the facility and training style, but also give us a chance to get a second opinion and see how you move. You might have a strong left oblique than right oblique, which we'll never know about unless we see you move. For us, the goal of these two sessions is to get you to the best starting place possible so we can make sure you're balanced and ready to build off a solid foundation.
