We selected Troy based on the several reviews. Troy replaced our patio wood foundation structure and patio roof covering. He also installed a new garage door. He was very timely and very professional. We discussed the job and costs ahead of time and knew the job cost up front. He did a great job and we will use him again.

We were referred to Kepper by our designer. He came out to do an estimate for installing a kitchen floor and backsplash. He spent an hour with us answering lots of questions and helping us through layout ideas. His bid came in a bit higher but we felt very comfortable that Kepper would keep an eye on every detail. Our tile and backsplash were installed last week and we decided to stay out of the house until done. The workmanship was spot on. They were able to do a great job in spite of the sub-floor which wasn't very level and not very square. We have lived with the tile for 2 days and cannot find any imperfections. The back splash is very large glass tiles and also are flawless. After he finished first project we ask him build additional room for us.It was involve foundation, framing electrical and plumbing. He and his crew was very professional and hard workers. My wife and i very happy!!! That all.

Kris responded promptly to my project request. And even though we decided to move forward with a wooden retaining wall, instead of a concrete wall, he offered great advice on how to improve the waterproofing and longevity of the wood wall. I appreciate his professionalism and wouldn’t hesitate to contact Kris for future home improvement projects.

Marco is the best ! A very professional job done! The concrete side walkway was so well done and we had many neighbors compliment the work. We also had him redo some old concrete on the side of our driveway and create a brick flower beds. He went out of his way to find the right brick to match the existing brick. The brick flower bed is amazing looking. His staff worker is a perfectionist to make sure all bricks were level and connected perfectly to our existing brick. His suggestion to level the sloping concrete makes it better easier to walk in the area. He did such a great job, we asked him to help us improve our patio in the back. His pricing was very reasonable and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations.

Jean Luc remodelled our bathroom 3 years ago and we still love it. He is a real artist and was a huge help to us in making decisions. He was invaluable when it came to picking a color for the walls, building and tiling a new shower, puting in the floor and baseboard. Everything about the experience was good. He worked hard, had good people with him when needed. He helped us think about things that we hadn't. We would hire him again in a minute if we need a contractor. Maureen

Ray recently installed walls in our living room to create a small office. The job was simple, but he he did it with much care. he was very honest, polite, professional, efficient, and affordable. When we wanted to make some alterations after the job was completed he was kind enough to come by and do so at no extra cost. He was also spent an hour with us before we hired him to discuss the job, give us his professional advice on what would work best, and answer any questions we had. Definitely would use him again and highly recommend him to others!

Paul Vander and his team were extremely professional. They provided a competitive bid, had great references, and communicated well prior to the project begin. They started the work when they said they would, brought a team and professional /new equipment. It became clear that they knew what they were doing and were doing it very professionally. It took them about two days of site preparation. The Santa Clara County building inspector spent all of 10 minutes onsite and signed off on it. Nothing needed to be changed, it was all perfect and ready for the concrete. It took another day, 45 cubic yards of concrete and the engineered 24' * 48' foundation and parking area were done. Great job. Highly recommend him and will certainly hire him again.

Kirk and his team performed an interior remodel and a new garage build for my house from January 2011 to July 2011. I am satisfied with Kirk’s work. He is very experienced in new constructions and remodels. He did a very good job for a very good price. Kirk also gave me lots of free extras at his expense. In March 2010 I purchased a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house in Union City, California. The house was in good structural condition, but as a foreclosured unit, it needed some rehabilitation. The original detached garage was in poor condition; it was badly damaged by termites and water. My intent was to have the detached garage demolished and completely rebuilt from the ground up. I planned on doing interior renovation at a later time. I found Kirk from craigslist and he had a link to his Thumbtack page. I called him and he came by to give me an estimate. He said he could give me a really good deal on a new garage and do an interior remodel for a little more than what I would have paid for the garage alone. Kirk was really enthusiastic about doing my job, much more so than the other contractors I had come to give me a bid. Kirk also had very good ideas about modernizing the interior. He suggested a bar counter between my kitchen and dining area. He would also turn my empty utility rooms into a master bedroom and master bathroom. And he wanted to create a laundry machine closet. Kirk had an architect draw the construction plans; his architect did a really nice job. He submitted it to the city as part of the permit application process. I wanted the work done with all permits so everything would be by the book. It would also help should I decide to sell the house at a later date. Kirk started out on the interior work first. He demolished the old kitchen and utility room. He built a new kitchen, a master bedroom, a master bathroom, a laundry machine closet, and a small coat closet by the front door. Kirk said he could also do a couple more things to the interior. He would do the labor for cheap if I paid for the materials. So I agreed and Kirk also replaced my front door, front window, and sliding glass door. He also remodeled my fireplace and fixed a bunch of broken things in my original bathroom. Kirk also completely rewired the house. The original wiring was a dangerous mess, a potential fire hazard. The interior work was completed towards the end of April 2011 and all the work was approved by the city inspector. It looked really nice. I received many compliments from friends and family. I am fairly picky with details and I did notice a couple flaws with fit and finish. I pointed out them out to Kirk. He and his workers did fix them. The garage work started immediately afterwards. The old garage was not worth saving so it was demolished and hauled away. The original foundation was unusable. So Kirk jackhammered it out. Kirk poured a new heavy-duty foundation onto an extensive frame of rebar. He tied it into the house foundation. Then he framed the new oversized 510 square foot garage. Kirk added a storage attic with a pull-down ladder. Kirk also poured a new driveway that looked excellent. Kirk added a 50 amp subpanel to the garage. He also gave me a bunch of free extras like wall insulation. Kirk also used roof panels coated with an aluminum heat reflective substance. The garage was completed by the end of July 2011. It looked really nice. Like the interior, I also received compliments from friends and family. The above garage attic storage with the pull-down ladder was really useful. The garage also passed city inspection. There were also a few issues with fit and finish in the garage. Kirk fixed the problems that I pointed out. While the garage was being built, Kirk also repaired my patio awning and side perimeter fence. He did an excellent job on them. One lady even drove by, stopped, and complimented on how nice the outside looks. I am overall satisfied with Kirk’s work. He really transformed my house. Since everything was done with permits, I now have a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house on county and city records. If you want to see his work on my house, ask Kirk to give you my phone number.

Back in March 2013, my partner and I started a monster 2 unit 2-level house remodel. This was a complete gut-to-the-studs, so the scope of work included foundation/concrete, electrical, plumbing, sheetrock ,Bathroom, kitchen, mechanical and complete re-framing. We came into this project with zero % experience in the construction industry, and yes I had heard all the nightmare stories. So to say we were a little nervous was a huge investment, this project had the potential to crush us. Viktor and his crew put us at ease from the beginning. People that have watched the progress on our project all say the same thing, "How did it get finished so fast?" Argos Construction team have a very professional work ethic - they don't rest until the job is complete. Price, Quality, Time.....pick two, that is the running joke in the construction business. Viktor will ensure you do not have to compromise - you will get all three and if that is not enough, you will get them with a smile. Viktor and his crew are people we now admire and trust, will definitely use them again. This was a huge project and they came in on-time and more importantly, on budget. Thanks Viktor

Chris' craftsmanship and care shows through in everything he touches. Not only did he do an outstanding job repairing our foundation, replacing the roof, adding new plumbing, electrical, a new exterior and interior paint job, and a brand new hardwood floor while offering solid, thoughtful design suggestions along the way, he did it all with a friendly, professional ease and stayed well within our budget. We're thrilled with his work and can't recommend him highly enough!

I provide full-service home repair, maintenance, renovation and addition construction. I have 15 years' experience building houses from the ground up, and I know every aspect of residential building and enjoy doing a wide variety of home-related building tasks. I do all the work myself, and I work alone, so the customer knows that the work is being done by a qualified, licensed and skilled professional, not a helper or laborer. Also, having the same person design the project, write the contract and complete the work minimizes confusion you might otherwise have with a crew.
