We hired Tim to move a mounted TV, some furnture, and a Murphy bed from one room to another in our home. Tim did a fantastic job -- especially the Murphy bed took some serious reverse-engineering and skill to dismantle and put back together. I would hire Tim again for any handyman jobs.

Tim was great - I would highly recommend him! He was easy to communicate with ahead of time and brought all his tools with him. He did a great job putting together my bed and outdoor furniture and did so quickly. Will definitely be using him again for future help!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Any listed pricing is always just a starting off point. It can change depending on the details of a job. Handyman work means a lot of different things to different people, so be prepared if the price I quote to you differs from other jobs or a listed price. With that in mind I also give discounts on a number of factors including repeat business and flexibility in scheduling. I also will occasionally charge an extra fee for last minute requests depending on my availability.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Well the very first thing I do is introduce myself and and verify where they are going to want the job to be done. It makes for a short conversation if it is just not in my work range. I then like to get as many details about the job as possible including most importantly the expectations of the client. This includes the timeframe they want it down in n and their budget. I'll ask all the relevant questions about the scope and then offer up a quote for the services if they go as discussed. I also let them know that if anything comes up mid job that could significantly change the cost, that I will contact them immediately to discuss what's happened and options to remedy. At that point it is just setting up a time and place to get started on the job.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I became burnt out from managerial and administrative positions in healthcare, so decided to work in a field that I enjoyed was and based on being complimented on and asked to help out with, believed I was good at and could. earn a decent living.
