- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1.) Complimentary 30 minute consultation. This can be done over the phone, email or text. 2.) If you would like to proceed with a design there is a (non-refundable) $100 design fee which will be included in your final pricing, should you decided to move forward with fabrication. 3.) Prices for custom pieces start at $900 and go up from there based on the complexity and labor/materials used to fabricate the design. 4.) A 50% (non-refundable) deposit, of the total quoted price (including design fee) is requested to begin fabrication of an approved project. 5.) The service you receive is a unique jewelry rendering by an experienced jewelry designer, updates regarding the status of your order, a 3D printed wax model to try on ahead of time (rings designs only), an certified document stating you have an original VAS Bijoux designed piece of jewelry.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For custom rings (4-6 week turnaround): Each piece is hand-sketched (to scale) with different angles for you to view. Once you have approved the design we can move into the the wax model stage (rings only) where you can try on a 3D Printed model of you ring to make sure you are comfortable with both the sizing and the design. Once the model has been approved we can move into the final fabrication stage. For custom pendants, earrings and bracelets (3-4 week turnaround): You will receive a hand-sketched (to scale) rendering featuring different angles of the piece. * Over 10 years of custom jewelry design experience * Originally trained as a bench jeweler and apprenticed with a master goldsmith * GIA (Gemological Institute of America) accreditation for Diamond Grading and Colored Gemstones * vast experience with estate jewelry
