I worked with Baron for a month while I was working in San Jose. My goal was to kick start myself back into a healthier lifestyle and hopefully lose some weight. What impressed me about Baron was his smiley approach to each training. He ensured that each training was a challenge but we always had fun. He was able to give a comprehensive work out despite the poor resources in my hotel gym. By the end of our time together I had toned up and built muscle. I did not lose weight (one of the intended goals) but felt that I had been given the kick start that I had asked for to help me step back to a healthier life style (main goal). In hindsight I would have asked Baron for more help nutritionally (though I am not sure if this is a service offered). To wrap up though...I had a lot of fun and always looked forward to my training which I cannot always say about a gym session. It was a great way to spice up my fitness regime and I would certainly recommend Baron to others.
After years and years of wanting to have a personal trainer, I always pushed it off. But something about turning 25 was a wake up call for me. So I made the plunge and did my research and looked into plenty of Personal Trainers but none of them really stood out. It wasn't until using this service and Anthony reaching out to me is a very fast manner that I took the opportunity to meet with him. Let's just say after a quick 15 min phone call and getting to know one another, I was hooked and ready to go. I started my training session on Monday and for someone who really hasn't stepped foot in a GYM or lifted weights, Anthony understands that and works to your level. During the 30 min workout (which felt longer at times haha) he was with me every step of the way, motivating and encouraging me to complete my sets. It has truly been the best investment I have ever made and look forward to accomplishing my goals. You won't go wrong with God's Gym & Anthony as your trainer. This guy knows his stuff!
I have had Personalized training from Evan and he has been outstanding. He tailors the workout routines according to your fitness level and also is very conscious of your injuries. I had a ACL surgery on my knee a couple of years back and he was very mindful of that and making sure that I don't injure myself. He also gave me good nutrition guidance which I did not have before. That along with the workouts have brought considerable change in my fitness level. He is very motivating and good at pushing you by the right amount. I would highly recommend Evan to anyone looking for a personal trainer.

I've worked with other personal trainers in the past. But my experience with John exceeded my expectations for several reasons. Upon meeting him I felt quickly at ease. He was able to quickly assess my physical ability and pushed me just enough past my comfort level. I had an amazing workout! He was very encouraging and positive towards me. It was very obvious he was extremely knowledgeable not only in training but he also came up with a detailed strategy to help me reach my fat loss goals especially with my nutrition. I feel very confidant in his ability to help me. I also know he will keep me free from injury. He exceeded my expectations. It was the best experience I've had with any personal trainer.

I had Maria come into my office's gym in SF for personal training. I'm pretty out of shape, and I wanted to get back into it. Her sessions are 1 hour long, and she doesn't cut it short. Very patient and will modify her workout to your fitness level :)
I have been training with Felipe since 2010. Before I started training with him, my workouts only consisted of high-intensity cardio kickboxing. After training with Felipe, I realized that while I was fit, I was not strong. Now I get a great mix of cardio and strength training. One of my goals was to be able to do a pull-up on my own. Now I'm strong enough to do 5 in a row! I love the workouts that Felipe creates. Every day is different and he is constantly adding new things to keep it interesting. His workouts can consist of hitting a tire with a sledge hammer, pushing a car in a parking lot, lifting weights, or TRX exercises. And that's just a sampling of it. It changes all the time. He is also a big believer in having correct form. Doing the workout correctly is more important to him than how many reps you can do. Azz is a fantastic trainer who is professional and knowledgeable. When I first met Azz, he inquired about my health history including injuries and limitations. We discussed my personal fitness goals and then the work began! I have been working with Azz for years. Each session we work on aerobic conditioning, interval training, muscle strength and stretching. He also offers great nutritional counseling. At the age of 65, I am stronger now than I was in my 20s!!! Azz offers positive reinforcement while getting me to work hard. And... he is fun and genuine!!!
I trained and took High Intensity Interval Training with Cassie for over three years and she is, simply put, amazing. She motivates you to push yourself but is careful not to let you overdo anything so that you put yourself at risk for injury. She provides excellent training and nutritional advice as well. Cassie is the best!!
James "Intensity" Terry is an outstanding personal trainer, team leader, motivator and educator. James trained me using weights, proper CrossFit exercises, martial arts (under the leadership of my husband, and his Coach, CUNG LE), and his own brand of Intensity training! During my difficult pregnancy James inspired me to do whatever I could and had me back to sumo squats by my second trimester. James leads while jumping in and doing the exercises with you allowing you to go beyond what you have ever done before. Training is about pushing yourself but limiting exposure to injury. James Terry is one of my favorite trainers of all time. My husband, Cung Le, only allowed James to hold mitts for me, when he wasn't able to. That in itself speaks volumes!

For years, my workout regimen consisted of running and Pilates. Running strengthened my heart and legs, while Pilates kept my core muscles strong and flexible. But something was missing, and I found that missing piece when I began boxing with Jeremy. Not only is boxing an intensely demanding physical workout, it is a mentally challenging workout as well. A professional fighter himself, Jeremy teaches technique, movement, and combinations while also prepping his clients with cardiovascular warm ups, coordination work, and strength. If you want to raise the bar and challenge yourself, Jae and Scott are your men. I have been training with the two of them alternately for about a year and a half now. These guys push me beyond my limits. After each session, I literally have almost no breath left. I can only breathe a sigh of relief that I survive. When I decided to work with a personal trainer, my goals are pretty straightforward. I want more muscle tone and definition, gain strength, and maintain a leaner frame. Realistically, I probably will not be able to achieve the desired results if I do it on my own. Prior to training with Jae for the first time, I remember Jae asking me if I do not mind being pushed. With no hesitation, my response was, No, I do not mind being pushed. Perhaps I should thought about his question a little longer. Day one, Jae did not waste any time. The difficulty level on my exercise was upped by several notches. It was intense with almost no recovery time in between exercises. It felt like a punishment. In the first few minutes of the session with Jae, I was bathing with my own sweat. Fast forward, every time I meet with Jae, I still sometimes get nervous and doubt my capability to finish my exercise routine. At the end of each session, however, I feel I gain instant results. My body does feel a lot tighter, especially my arms and upper body. Scott, on the other hand, always changes the routine. My exercise routines with him are not predictable, which proves to be effective in my case. My muscles do not get complacent. He would make me do, for example, different variations of push-ups push-up on a bosu ball, push-up using dumb bells, push-up on one leg, push-up with one arm, push-up with no hands (just kidding!). And those cardio exercises not my favorite. These are incredibly exhausting! These, however, are the types of exercises that I probably need the most. I would not normally do these on my own. In addition, I should mention that Scott is pretty cool and fun to train with. Although the routines are tough, humor made the session bearable. Lastly, Scott typically spends the last few minutes of the session with stretching, which is nice. It relaxes my muscles after a long intense and vigorous workout
Ben is, by far, one of the most professional and dedicated personal trainers I’ve ever met. For starter, he is always punctual and responsive. (Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a personal trainer cancelled on me last minute.) More importantly, Ben is extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise. He actually dedicates his time and energy to tailor personalized workout programs that are not only specifically aim to reach my goals, but also accommodating to my body condition. Throughout each training session, Ben always pays extra attention to my techniques for potential improvements. Furthermore, he always manages to come up with different variations of movements to ensure that I can train in the safest and most effective way possible. I noticed substantially amount of muscle and strength gains after a month of training sessions with him. You honestly cannot go wrong with training with Ben!
He is very in-tuned and observant on how my body moves and react to the exercises he prescribes. He adjusts the level of intensity accordingly. He's focused during training sessions but yet knows when to chat and loosen up the intense environment with a good giggle and laugh. I enjoy the variations he introduces as part of my training plan, this way it doesn't make sessions boring and mundane. Encouragement and praise in the form of verbal and a high-five hand slap is very motivating. And after seen my body starting to tone and becomes stronger and of course loosing weight is definitely a huge plus in my books. What a great refreshing experience thus far working with my trainer.
I had just overcome pneumonia and had lost about 10lbs; Dan not only helped me create a reasonable high-calorie diet to regain the weight, but also explained the pros and cons of cardiovascular exercises vs strength training, and how they play into my already high metabolism. His wealth of knowledge in nutrition and fitness was astounding! To the point that I regained the weight in about a month, started taking daily vitamin supplements combined with regular outdoor walking exercise, and included great options for stress management. Due to its success, this has become my health & wellness regime for the past two years.
Jenny has a really great way about her, is very personable and makes the time pass really quickly while slowly ramping up the intensity of the workouts. You don't even notice it and all of a sudden you're doing more reps and running further, faster. I'm doing better already after a few weeks of training and looking forward to what she has in store for us next!
