She is very thorough in individual assessments asking a lot of detailed questions in the initial meeting. I'm looking forward to meeting my goals with her help!
I worked with Josh to help me get back into shape. He knows his stuff when it comes to training. He is very flexible and understanding and will work with you on whatever fitness goals you have. I would highly recommend Josh as a personal trainer.

This is my first review for me on Thumbtack. I have an incredible experience with Patrick as my personal trainer for a year. I will make this short but with my real experience. I used to work out and fell out of my routine. I became unhappy with myself and had no motivation to get back in shape. I didn't even know where to start with exercising and decided to get help. When I first met Patrick I wasn't sure we would be a good fit because he seemed to be in great shape and I was a little intimidated. It turns out I had nothing to fear! He was great at making me feel comfortable, understanding my limitations and at the same time he understood how to get me to push those limits. Sadly I moved away and no longer have Patrick to help me but what he did for my fitness is unbelievable and I have no regrets about our time together. I'm not an expert, just a regular girl who needed help. I highly recommend giving this guy a shot. Patrick, if you ever read this, thank you again!
I took Kelvin's Thai kickboxing classes at the LinkedIn corporate gym. His classes were always challenging and fun, regardless of your skill level. Kelvin did a great job honing the technique of the the regulars and people with prior fight training. And Kelvin always welcomed new newcomers and helped them develop foundational skills. Even though I took Kelvin's classes once or twice a week for over a year, I never got bored. Kelvin changed up the classes pretty frequently with new drills and strike combos. One of the things I really miss about working at LinkedIn is coming to Kelvin's class.
I love my workouts with Cindy. She is keen with my abilities. I'm an advance exerciser, Cindy's workouts were intense and challenges me. I love the fact that Cindy incorporates kickboxing into my training. I felt every single muscle in my body. 2 days of strength training and 2 days of kickboxing. I look forward to my sessions every day. I'm starting to feel a difference in my body.
I've been training/working out with Tom for almost 6months now. Training with Tom is great, his knowledge of different workouts and exercises helped me grow as an athlete. His pricing is fair and a better rate than most trainers in the area. The workouts are always different and help me hit the goals or skills I want to improve on such as, improvements in my boxing/kickboxing, wrestling, jiu jitsu, mobility and also strength training. When I first started working with Tom I was completely new to lifting but now I am able to lift 1.5% of my body weight in both my squat and deadlift. His ability to adapt to my needs whether minor injuries or muscle soreness is fantastic. Tom puts his clients as a priority and has never been late to any of our training sessions; he's been more than flexible to work with my frantic schedule weather it's training early in the morning, afternoon, or late at night.
I contacted Terri to teach a self-defense class to a group of 18-year-old young women, before they went off to college. Terri was quick to respond to my e-mails and easy to work with. She organized the class, complete with online sign-up and payment and we were all set. The girls loved the class and felt that Terri not only taught them physical ways to protect themselves, but she also gave them loads of advice about how to carry themselves, how to react in situations, what to be thinking about, etc. I would recommend Terri highly.
I loved working with Andrew. It had been about a year since I had boxed, so I was a little nervous. Andrew put me right at ease during his intro level boxing class and reminded me of techniques I had forgotten. I worked with him a couple more times since then one on one. The workout kicked my butt, and I’ve been steadily improving at boxing. He’s funny, really easy to get along with, and had a fairly flexible schedule. I can’t recommend him enough!
I have worked with Geoff in three different areas. 1. My grandson took Jui Jitsu with Geoff and his team for a year. He excelled and did tournaments and placed. The professional and personal style of training for children is excellent. 2. I took kickboxing for about nine months with three different ladies in which Geoff was our instructor. I gained strength and endurance through these classes. Enough to where I am now in the third phase of our relationship in training. 3. I now train with Geoff twice a week. We work on kickboxing, endurance and Boot Camp training. Switching off each training session because I need to switch it up. That is to say that Geoff will personalize your training if that is what you need. Pro-Fraction is what I needed for fitness.
My three children have been training with Jay since they were five years old. Now that they are becoming teenagers, they look to him for physical training but also as a life coach. Niko Skuljan and I met nearly three years ago (come this June) I posted an Ad on Craigslist for a private one on one Martial Arts instructor (I moved up from San Francisco to Sonoma full time 3 years ago) and decided to give up my Martial Arts trainer in the city, and Niko responded. We agreed to meet, go over in great detail, what my background in training was, what was important for me in my training, and his philosophy on Combat training, in other words....a very comprehensive consultation. The followoing week we began our training. I have been involved in one form of Martial Arts for years, whether it be Judo, A little Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing and now, with Niko, traditional Boxing, Muay Thai (or Thai kickboxing) as well as Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's form of Martial Artistry) as well as a little Wing Chun. Niko Skuljan is very adverse in ALL of these forms of combat training! He is passionate, very patient, always reliable and extremely knowledgeable! And has an eye like a hawk! Nothing gets by Niko! Never fails to correct your form or stance, but also demonstrates it for you, so you have a visual to go by. We film our sessions, and He and I agree, that is a great way to see whatever might need correcting or what is being executed precisely! He and I have developed a friendship as well (as he is a highly intelligent individual and someone you feel an immediate connection or bond with) Even if Niko is delayed with traffic (as he lives in a different town then Sonoma) he is always fair and we always make up the time on another day of training.
