Since starting Synergy Self-defense in May of 2012, I have gained confidence, self-esteem and body awareness. Shermie is an excellent teacher who really listens to her students needs and concerns. She provides a welcoming environment where you can ask as many questions as you need. She's also willing to celebrate the joys and achievements you make both personally and professionally.
Shermie is also incredibly knowledgeable about her art and is willing to give you as much information as you need.
I would really recommend Synergy Self Defense if you want a comfortable yet challenging environment where you can learn more about yourself in a welcoming and respective place.

Synergy Self Defense is absolutely fantastic. Shermie is very knowledgable and meets you at "your level" so you never feel behind. I noticed within a couple months that she taught me sooooo much. I wish I still lived in San Francisco so that I could continue to go. If you are lucky enough to try it you will enjoy it!

An energetic two hour class, fun atmosphere, detailed instructions and children friendly. I spent two years studying here.
Shermie Cadabona is an experienced (very patient) instructor. The training is ideal for newcomers as well as intermediate students. I valued the reviews of techniques that helped build and retain the information.
This is the place if you are interested in learning double stick techniques.

I am 2000 miles from Cali and have been searching for a GM or MG to train me and there is none. The person that got me into this is a Master Guru from out West and says I should train with a Filipino but there isn't any here. Was wondering do you offer satellite classes?
