Dawna possesses many special talents; she is an intrepid knitter and a fabulous knitting instructor. For the last two years, I have had the pleasure of take a number of Dawna's knitting classes (Sock club and Shawl Knitting Group). She is a professional yet her approach is very caring. Dawna's knitting knowledge is vast and her own desire to learn new techniques is obvious. She is able to inspire confidence to her students and she is always well prepared for her classes. I feel grateful to have an instructor like Dawna inspire my knitting.

Rachel was super patient and encouraging. My mom was a whiz at knitting and I've always wanted to learn, The bad part was that I've got chubby fingers, and I'm a bit of a spaz, But Rachel stuck with it and helped me find a groove that works. On top of that - the girl can knit her butt off!

I love to knit and crochet, but haven't been able to do so due to arthritis. Caro made it possible for me to return to doing what I love, by finding the right knitting needles and crochet hooks specially designed for easy grasp. She is so knowledgeable about everything related to knitting, crochet and fibres, that I feel lucky to have found her!

About

I teach both knit and crochet from beginners to intermediate skill level as well as finishing. We can work on the basics or a specific technique or project. I will even help you to shop for the perfect materials. Class size can vary from private and semi-private up to groups of six. Being patient, I have had great success in teaching children as young as 7 years old. I learned to knit and crochet as a child, and have been teaching for the past 10 years. My belief is that these are fun activities, and my goal is to make it so. Past students claim that their stress levels are greatly reduced.

About

It was very difficult for me to learn how to knit, so I am an exceptionally patient instructor. Our classes are always fun and easy going. We are a small shop, tucked discretely inside of a beauty salon, so if you also need some highlights or a cut, you're in luck!
