Libby was part of the team I managed at Schawk's onsite production studio at Apple headquarters. She is an incredibly pleasant person who is very dedicated to her work. Even during a particular product launch when she had to take a cab from Cupertino to San Francisco at 2:00 am, Libby did not complain. She got the work done.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I don't have a standard pricing system. For some projects, I charge by the hour and others by the project.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Open communication is key to ensure expectations are met or exceeded from both parties. Therefore, I like to start with the following: 1. Discuss customer needs, objectives and expectations. 2. Determine how many concepts to present to client and in what degree of desired finish (sketches to computer mock up). 3. What other stakeholders or professionals (such as copywriters, photographers, etc.) will I need to work with or hire. 4. Discuss budget. 5. Determine timelines and milestones. 6. Determine who has final approval of the work. 7. Work up a proposal with cost estimate, payment and approval schedule.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I hold a BFA, Major in Graphic Design from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. I also have certificates from General Assembly for a course in UX Design and UC Berkeley Extension for a html course. Throughout my career I have attended design conferences and taken software courses in the main Adobe Creative Suite, namely InDesign, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. I am also an expert in Adobe Illustrator, and am self-taught in Keynote and PowerPoint. I have a basic working knowledge of AfterEffects and Sketch. In addition to these courses to improve my craft, I've taken many management training courses through employers. I am an active member of AIGA, the primary association for graphic designers.
