Everything went smoothly on the move. Movers showed up promptly at 8:15 for an 8:30 move. It took 2 movers just under 4 hours to move our 1 bedroom apartment. They charged the rate as quoted with no hassle on any of the work they did. Packing materials such as the blankets and shrink wrapping on the tables and bed frames were used accordingly and the assembly and disassembly of the furniture was done quickly. These guys don't milk their time at all and work effectively. I'd use them again in the future no questions asked. Just for reference we pre-packed all of our items into boxes and they moved all the boxes and did the dissemble and reassemble of the bigger furniture pieces. Pleasant people who all smelled nice and looked the clean part. Yeah they did ask for a little more tip at the end but I haven't had a mover yet who hasn't asked for more tip so I didn't think it was out of the ordinary. (These guys asked very politely)

H&Y Moving provided excellent service, from scheduling just two weeks in advance, all the way through moving day. Wendy was easy to work with and was very helpful in answering all of my questions, and re-answering all of my questions again closer to moving day :) The two movers that came were extremely professional, courteous, and very efficient. They knew what they were doing to disassemble and re-assemble my furniture, and did a great job protecting my hard wood furniture. I would use H&Y Moving again for my next move.

Solid moving company, they confirmed the night before and then they showed up exactly in time. Even though it was raining they were troopers. The guys spoke almost no english but it wasn't needed they moved everything with no real interaction needed besides pointing out one thing that was very fragile which they took good care of. They accomplished the move quickly and worked efficiently with no breaks that I saw. I gave 4 stars because a few things could have been better: Some of the furniture wasn't plastic wrapped all the way and got wet in the rain (no damage). The floor of the truck was wet and some of the boxes soaked up some rain (no damage) And I saw them standing on some boxes to pack things in the truck (but again no damage). So they are solidly in the "Good" category. The quote Wendy gave me was 100% spot on, no hidden charges for their plastic wrap or tape and the cost ended up being less then my back of the napkin calculations - which has never happened to me before. I would definitely use them again for my next move (hopefully not for a while).

This company was very helpful with my move--timely and organized. The two workers managed the disassembly of my furniture with great care and packed it neatly in the storage unit a few blocks away. I was very impressed and would definitely use this service again!
