Introduction: Lauren is a lettering artist + muralist based in Ames, IA. If you catch her out in the wild, you’ll likely see a spunky blonde wrapped up in pink coveralls, brush in hand and paint everywhere. She specializes in custom letters, patterns and illustrations. She can build lettering pieces that are consistent and supportive of the fonts your brand already uses. Or, she can mix it up and create something completely out-of-the-box! Her clients love her art because she designs pieces specifically tailored to their space, brand + goals. Whether you want to deck out an entire hallway, highlight a feature wall, or bring a bright pattern to an otherwise boring conference room, she's your gal.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is based on square feet! Simply measure your space, send me the measurements with a quick photo and I can quote your project based on the size and complexity of the design.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Step 1: Send a photo of you wall Send me a message with a photo of the space and let me know a little bit about your goals for the project. We can even jump on a quick call to discuss! Step 2: Get mood boards + a quote I will send you some mood boards of detailed mural projects to give you a vision of what your space will look like when the mural is completed! I will also give you an exact quote for the project. Step 3: I come and paint the thing! I travel to you and bring all of my supplies with me! Large murals typically take 2-3 days to complete. And then BOOM, your wall is Instagram worthy.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with clients across the country to transform their spaces into attention grabbing works of art, such as wedding venues, office spaces, grocery stores, etc.
