Drew and his team were incredible to have at our event. We had 50-75 people to host/manage and their service, energy and strong event management were incredibly valuable. They took control of the bar and food and allowed my husband and me to truly enjoy our event. Will plan to work with them again in the future and strongly recommend them!
Amazing crew and Excellent Service and Quality of food! There was so much food, we never ran out and they also were so nice and caring with the guests and the event! Thank you for making Lili's Surprise Party a memorable event!
I hired Michael to bartend my Halloween party. Before the event he came up with great themed cocktails that were delicious and fun! His energy was positive and everyone loved him. He also helped with clean up, which was grately appreciated. Michael was a hit, I would definitely hire him again.
Before I give my glowing review of Tiffany, I have to preface the review with a few words so you know that I was in your shoes. Wedding planning sucks and having to stick to a limited budget doesn't it make it easier. As a bride, sometimes you have to cut corners in order to afford simple things (or let's be honest more desired things) for your wedding. Hiring a full service wedding planner, was one of those things that I really wanted, but I knew it would take a huge chunk out of my wedding budget. My wedding was in San Francisco, so its not the cheapest city to have your wedding. But after receiving price quotes from full service wedding planners, their prices depressed me (adding unnecessary stress to my wedding budget woes) and when I looked at their packages, I just didn't feel like it was right for me or my budget. I had to take a step back, breathe, and take ownership of wedding planning and face reality. I knew what Id need to do, to stay on budget. I had big decisions to make as a bride, but I knew I could save a ton, if I planned my own wedding. So I thought hey I plan many events for my friends, family, and clients all the time, weve got about 85-100 guests to invite, why not plan my own wedding, and hire a day of coordinator to save money?" I did just that and when I was in the process of looking for a day of coordinator, my next thought was, "shoot if I hire a day of coordinator, will I overlook something and regret not hiring a full service wedding planner?". With caution, I started to ask for quotes for day of coordinators and realized right away what I needed to do. I put a request up on Thumbtack and the email quotes came rolling in. I was astonished. But I was in a conundrum - every price was competitive, so how does one choose a vendor over the other. All of them had amazing reviews (which put my initial concerns more at ease). I spent a few days emailing back different vendors, asking them questions, reading their reviews, even looking them up on Linkedin! I did some my research and eventually decided on Tiffany Won. Choosing her as the day of coordinator was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. 3 pieces of advice if you DIY: First off ladies, have more confidence in your planning abilities and use the resources the internet provides you (there are a ton of wedding checklists and schedules online to help you plan your own wedding, and for inspiration for décor or what not, pinterest was key for me). It might be intimating at first, and the time involved in planning your wedding might feel like an absolute time suck, but trust in yourself and plan your day. No one has a better vision of what you want for your wedding, more than you. Secondly, trust in a day of coordinator like Tiffany to execute on your vision. She's top notch and will be a valuable asset in your planning process. I hired her as my day of coordinator. I was a little anxious, but after I spoke with her on the phone and especially after I met her before my wedding for the 2 hour pre-wedding meeting, I could tell that she had plenty of experience in event planning and coordination. Not only does she have experience in wedding planning, but she has extensive experience planning corporate events and conferences, which as you know, could range from hundreds to thousands of attendees. My thought was, if this girl can plan corporate events that are large scale, she will definitely be able to coordinate my smaller scale event. She also asked the right questions before the wedding, which put my concerns at ease, since she is very sharp and it became clear to me, that event planning plays a very familiar story in her head, a story she knows word for word. Thirdly, stick to your budget. If you need to roll up them sleeves and plan your wedding, just do it. But call in some cavalry to take over on the day of your wedding day because youll need it. Make sure you go with a pro like Tiffany. Im pretty detailed oriented. So is she. I thought I had every detail planned, all she has to do is follow the schedule. You know what, she was able to catch holes in my schedule and my planning. She worked with me to double check my wedding schedule and everything the whole shebang from pre-wedding day stuff like what time the florist will set up, when will the lighting company get to the venue, advice or a second opinion on wedding décor, suggestions for additional vendors .even ceremony logistics such as where people would stand, the flow of the event, gaps in the vendors schedules and the wedding reception details like when the band would take their breaks so she can play an ipod or something so background music would play, helping with the mic transition from the emcee to other guest speakers, overseeing food service so there wasn't a huge gap between the appetizers and dinner, making sure I ate, making sure the groom and I did our table rounds to thank our guests for coming, making sure at the end of the evening someone could collect my wedding gifts, etc etc. Tiffany did a phenomenal job at overseeing every tiny detail the day of the wedding! My wedding went smoothly, the guests had a fantastic time, I now have memories that will last a lifetime, and this was all because I had help taking some wedding responsibilities off my shoulders, I'm so glad I hired Tiffany! Tiffany went over and beyond the call of duty and at a very fair price. Whether you hire her as a day of coordinator or hire her for full service wedding planning (or to plan any type of event), do yourself a favor and put her in your top consideration list. I would hire her again if I could. I will certainly be recommending her to my friends and family. And if you hire her, Im sure you will eventually do the same. Kudos Tiffany for the excellent work! Written by a very happy bride :)
Alisa was terrific to work with - she was on time, organized and provided delicious, quality food. Will definitely call on her when planning our next event!
AnnaMarie was AMAZING. She was so completely helpful and perfect as our day-of coordinator. Everyone that worked with her was impressed with her efficiency, precision and professionalism. She gently guided us through the day and I was able to fully relax and feel that things were being taken care of. My husband is a fairly exacting and organized German and he was so appreciative of the AR Weddings services. Honestly, I could not recommend more. If you're planning a wedding in the bay area, this is your event planner!!!
Manya and her team made all my dreams come true for my colorful chai-themed co-ed baby shower. I'm extremely detail-oriented and a perfectionist by heart - so that's a challenge for any event planner :) Manya helped execute my vision to the T! She's very hardworking, kind and accommodating to all needs - big and small. She has good ideas and can be flexible to work with on any budget. She's also very responsive to text, email and phone calls. You won't regret collaborating with Manya - she's passionate about her work and will help make your event truly dazzle :)
Danny's floral arrangements are beautiful and thoughtful composites plucked out of fairy tale imagery. I was a bride who hired Danny for my wedding flowers. Originally, I just wanted fresh flowers, some roses, something simple and pretty. However, for the centerpieces, I requested a special set-up with Moroccan lanterns, rustic wood slabs, and flowers spilling out the lanterns flanked by oranges (a Chinese symbol for fortune). In addition, I noted that our wedding colors were pink, blue, cream and gold. Danny was extremely open, flexible, and considerate in listening to my and my husband's vision. In addition, there were a few last minute changes such as: number of reception tables, changing my bouquet to a cascade bouquet, and adding more corsages and boutonnieres to the order. Danny was always very patient and graciously said that he'll do everything he could to make my wedding a dream come true. On the day of my wedding, I walked into my bridal changing room and fell in love again - this time with the most gorgeous bouquet I'd ever seen. Blush roses, blue orchis, delicate violet flowers, and eucalyptus coins tumbled majestically in a floral waterfall - wild and natural, yet together making a disciplined formation. Later, I walked down the aisle and saw my beloved standing in front of a gazebo that was swathed in swan-white chiffon and vibrant florals, also Danny's work. An hour and a half later, when we entered the reception room, I was met with the magnificence of our sweetheart table. Being a practical person, I had just discussed with Danny that we'd have a simple sweetheart table with my bridal bouquet as a centerpiece. What met my eyes was a golden tablecloth filled with rosette swirls. Across it were crystal goblets, Moroccan lanterns juxtaposed with oranges and golden frames containing my husband's and my pictures and standing atop tomes and wooden slabs. In that moment, my simple self became suddenly enraptured by a desire for lovely things, and in my transformation, decided that I must preserve my bridal bouquet. Danny indeed works magic.
Forsyth Designs was the mastermind behind the exceptionally beautiful and customized decor for our wedding. Matt's ability to translate our vision into a reality that far exceeded our expectations while staying on budget was the best "gift" a bride could ask for! He literally transformed a white tent into a stunning lounge-like atmosphere that accommodated our every need and desire. There isn't a large scale event or party that I would consider hosting without collaboration from Forsyth Designs. Working with Matt is seriously delightful on every level!
An associate recommended Rainbow Chefs to provide the food for an event I was planning for a family gathering. I decided to go through with their services. There were kids and adults participating so I was a little nervous about how it would go, but everyone had a great time! It was so fun and interactive for the kids. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend Rainbow Chefs!
Wanting to learn to cook lower calorie food that still had great flavor, I hired Zac to come to my home and teach in our kitchen. My husband is our (excellent) cook, I am not a cook (at fifty-something years old), presenting a bit of a challenge. Rising to the occasion, Zac planned a meal that read like the menu at French Laundry! Panic! There was no way I could prepare this meal. Zac said...Way! He met me at Sonoma Market to introduce me to fresh everything, not packaged anything! Back at our kitchen, the magic began and WOW! Probably one of the most delicious dinners I've ever had at home, and certainly rivaling 5 star restaurants. Our cooking and dining experience was nothing short of superb and better yet, not a dollop of butter or a drop of cream was used to create the fantastic soup, salad, and complex main course. Through Zac's exceptional knowledge of herbs and spices, he taught me to create extraordinary flavors to enhance the food, and not over power it. It was a brilliant evening of cooking! Zac is easy going, yet very assured, and his ability to communicate is second to none. Remarkable job by a talented young man who will be continuing to educate us in the kitchen and most assuredly catering events for us. Bravo, Zac...Bravo!
Laurel helped me plan an amazing 30th Birthday Brunch. She was thoughtful with the menu and the food was fresh and seasonal, just as we discussed. There were roughly ~20 in attendance and her team made me feel like a guest at my own party. Will definitely use her again.
Velina is extremely talented in my experiences with her events. I've worked with her and been to other events she planned and been a part of. She's extremely professional, kind, and organized. He floral arrangements are stunning, her table arrangements are classy and elegant and she just has an amazing eye for detail. She's helped me with multiple parties I've planned including birthday and baby showers. I got so many compliments on how amazing both parties were and how all the details were perfect. To top it all off Her pricing is extremely reasonable. Whether it's a wedding, and event or a party Velina is all around amazing!!
Oh my goodness, I was so, so impressed with Cheri's cooking. I've never, and I mean never, tasted a turkey that was as tender and flavorful as hers. I'm getting hungry right now just thinking of it. She catered our holiday party, and the depth and delight of all her amazing dishes tantalized all the guests. All her dishes we're cooked and baked to perfection. She's a genius in the kitechen, with a down-home, nurturing spirit to boot. I highly recommend Cheri for any catering event you're planning in the future. Your guest will rave that it's the best catered food they've ever had.
Wow!! Just Wow!! Chef Judith Green catered our company holiday party last Friday and it was amazing. First, and very impressive, she showed up with an army of chefs and servers. They layed out two tables of bountiful delight! Cheeses, hummus, herbs from her garden. Whole Salmon, Asian sliders, veggies, and incredible desserts!! Our CEO was so impressed. She made me and our company look good. Not only will I hire her again, I plan to recommend her to everyone in need of a caterer. Thank you so much!!
Daniel did an outstanding job! From the music, up lighting and emceeing was amazing. He was responsive, helpful and open to playing anything we wanted. If you are looking for a DJ that you can trust and get everyone on the dance floor, look no further than Daniel! He will communicate professionally and make your wedding, party, or event a day to remember.
Courtney is simply amazing! She coordinated my house warming party for 80+ people and she handled everything seamlessly. She is an incredibly hard worker and anyone would be lucky to have her services.
I contacted Rubal for emergency help planning a birthday party for my 3-year-old nephew and she exceeded expectations and then some. She really listened to what we wanted - she brings an amazing balance of creativity and flawless execution to the event planning process. There wasn't a detail that was overlooked - and she clearly cared about personalizing the party for us and for my nephew. She was also an absolute pleasure to work with - a great eye for design, and a fantastic sense of humor and patience. Highly recommend.
Christa Mekki is an absolutely astounding event planner. She is creative, patience, detail-oriented, and easy to work with! She is the epitome of customer service. I would reccommend her for every important occasion, big or small.
They are professional cater. Nice and kind to dealing with. I would recommend to anyone who plan to have an event, party, and for any occasion. They provide the reasonable price compare to others.
Mustafa is one of the best planners I know. His recent work for our company party at Snap Inc was exceedingly well done. From initial concept, to budgeting, and event execution, Mustafa was able to give us clear guidance on how to create a memorable event for our teams. I highly recommend him.
