Event Planning

Nefertari was so helpful and responsive in finding a great location for our event. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to COVID-19, but I will be hiring her again to plan the event when the restrictions are lifted.

Wedding Coordination

Nefertari was a huge help for us during our wedding planning process! She was asked to manage a very unique situation with the current COVID outbreak, which required her to do some unusual tasks including legal research, communicating with Marin county, and helping us navigate the unfortunate process of uninviting guests when we were forced to downsize our wedding. Throughout all the uncertainty, she remained very positive and professional which my fiancee and I really appreciated. I highly recommend Nefertari for wedding planning or any event!

Event Planning

I really enjoyed working with Nefertari for my team's event. She facilitated a happy hour/painting event where we discussed the current events in the country and learned about how African American people have been held back by different policies throughout the decades that we've been a nation. Positive moments: She ordered paints and canvases and had that delivered to each participant's home via Task Rabbit, so her not being in Kansas City was not an issue. It was great to not have to worry about those details. She was very professional, calm, and shared great information with us. Opportunities: We had a technical issue at one point that made it to where the slides weren't advancing for participants which made the information harder to absorb. There was also a bit of uncertainty of when to start painting and any guidance around the actual "how to" of painting that should be evolved for future events. If I were to do this again, I wouldn't make it a painting event. I'd want to focus mostly on the dialogue and get people participating in that more. I think it was a great start to have folks learn and engage.

Hi Vanessa, Thank you for working with Inspire passion life events. Reflecting a bit on our time together, here are some helpful tips I'd love to leave with you for the next time you hire an event planner. 1.) Please ensure you are hosting a virtual meeting on a platform that can withstand 19 people. As we learned can handle such meetings with one speaker and multiple viewers vs. multiple speakers/presenters. 2.) Upon reaching out to an event planner please ensure you are 100% sure of what you want to do. Per your request I supplied not only an activity but a topic for discussion with over 20 hrs of work for pay well below minimum wage. The instructions on what to paint and how to paint by following along with the printed image was provided. Painting begun before my introduction when everyone gathered their products at the John Mayer "Waiting for the world to change intro". 3.) While I loved your heart, openness, and tenacity to take on a topic like Black lives matter. Please ensure your team is ready for a discussion like this. Priming them with readings, ted talks and discussions will have well prepared them for such a heavy topic. We are talking about an almost all non-black team in Kansas MS...I hope my event served as a positive primer for the next discussion you choose. 7 participants out of 19 is a start but is a sure way to make any event a challenge if no one speaks, paints, or comes on camera for a virtual discussion. I respect your authority over your team and did not want to force anyone to participate as I was invited via your invitation =). Thank you for working with Inspire Passion Life Events! Nefertari was nothing short of amazing! She was punctual, professional and friendly. She provided the best services and had creative ideas when mine were lacking for my engagement party. I was stressed about figuring out food arrangements, decor etc when a good friend of mine recommended Nefertari to step in for me.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I do my best to keep my prices reasonable! Bringing people together should be as seamless and stress-free. My rates start at $800, However if you are just a short distance away from me, or need light help I'm able to go lower. I also cater to those with larger budgets, don't let my price fool you, I can pull off a jaw-dropping wedding without picking your pockets just because you have money. I charge a flat fee, 50% of that fee is collected when a contract is signed. The second half of the fee is collected two weeks prior to the event.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I will initiate a relationship with a new client by doing an introduction phone call, text or email or heck even an in-person meet to 1st learn about you and your needs, your vision and their timeline. I want to help tell your story!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a professional that currently does event planning and coordination for a large tech company.
