If you do not have a horn, I can help you find one to rent or purchase. People like my approach because I'll train you to where you can play any kind of music.

Chazz is an amazing musician and teacher. He has a special ability to inspire his students to discover the essence of playing Jazz for themselves. Chazz has been teaching my 13 year old son since we moved to San Francisco from New York City at the end of last Summer. It is really a delight to see how my son has grown from being just a kid who loved playing in his Middle School Jazz band to an accomplished young Jazz musician. Chazz has not only been giving my son a solid grounding in technique and the history of Jazz, but most importantly Chazz keeps Jazz relevant and makes sure it is a living art for my son. He introduces my son to the best in contemporary Jazz explorations and finds creative ways to connect Jazz to the other forms of music teenagers love. Last but not least, Chazz is very dedicated and has gone out of his way to keep up a regular lesson schedule whatever the demands of his own schedule have been. In short, Chazz has my highest recommendation as a teacher and musician.

Chazz is one of the best Saxophone players I have ever heard. And he is one of the most patient teachers I've ever had. He really gets into the process and you walk away from each lesson with the feeling of confidence.

Chazz is one of the greatest living saxophonists on the planet. How he is to work with, I really don't know.
