- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $70 / hour. While I am flexible on lesson style and even number of people, I generally keep my rates the same.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I set up a time to talk with the customer, in order to ascertain their prior experience (if any), specific goals, and overall motivation to learn and ultimately enjoy the sport of tennis. Then, we meet in person for our first lesson. While stretching, I give an overview of what the lesson ahead will entail. Then, we get to work!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified GRE & SAT instructor, and have helped hundreds of students realize their university / graduate school dreams through test preparation. I have the privilege of hosting Airbnb Experiences with people from all over the world, and am comfortable with public speaking. As an Audiologist, I am very comfortable explaining obscure concepts in a clear, concise manner. Similarly, as a doctor I am CPR / First Aid certified in the case of a medical emergency. Ultimately, I feel that teaching style / proficiency borrows from all of these unique experiences.
