Introduction: Hello! My name is Matilda. I have been teaching for 23 years and obtained my Bachelor of Music from Hong Kong Baptist University. I am also awarded DipABRSM and ATCL diploma in Performance from the Royal School of Music and Trinity College London. I am experienced in teaching different age groups from 3 to 75 years old, from beginner to advanced level. All my students have obtained merit and distinction results in the UK's ABRSM music exam. My online students in New York also got Outstanding and Excellent in NYSSMA. I focus on student's basic technique, at the same time I understand every student is different. Therefore I design and adopt various methods of teaching that are better suited for my students. My two children are learning the piano and Ms Fung is doing a really great job in engaging with them and making learning the piano interesting and fun for them. I hear a lot of laughs and fun while hearing notes and tunes being played. She is a very good teacher and is very good at marking homework for them between lessons. She gives them confidence in learning something new and the kids enjoy her lessons.

We just start having Ms Fung’s piano lessons two times. My kids (4 & 6) liked her immediately from the first lesson. Ms Fung is good with kids, humorous and patient. She is responsive and easy to communicate. My kids look forwards to seeing her! We hope that they enjoy learning music, and we are glad to find Ms Fung.

We engaged with Matilda to try out violin lessons for our 8 year old daughter. Matilda was great: she communicated well with our daughter and provided great guidance and instruction while always keeping lessons fun and engaging.
