Sumit was AMAZING! He was so responsive and professional leading up to the event and delivered a sneak peak SO QUICKLY with the full stack of RIDICULOUSLY GORGEOUS images soon after. I can't recommend him enough. His images of our family and friends truly captured the love and beauty. Love, love, love our pictures.Apr 11, 2018Verified

I hired Sumit to take head shots of our physicians and executive team through Thumbtack. I interviewed five different photographers and decided on Sumit after viewing his outstanding portfolio. He showed up right on time and brought all of his equipment to our office to set up a mobile studio. The whole process was much easier than I imagined. Sumit makes people feel comfortable and that shows in the photos. We are very pleased with the results. He is a true professional and I highly recommend him.Aug 12, 2015Verified

Sumit took photos of my family of three, including my three year old boy. We met at the Botanical Gardens and walked to several locations in the gardens. Sumit was professional, patient with our son, and gave us good direction throughout the shoot. The photos he took were beautiful! I love the colors he was able to bring out of the background greenery. And the action shots he got of our son were fantastic. Thanks, Sumit!Jun 29, 2014Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? There's always a lot of new developments with cameras, lenses, lighting, software, etc. and I do read my fair share of postings and also rent equipment to demo in case it might help with the end result. However, at the end of the day, its more about the photographer and their ability to realize a vision rather than the latest equipment.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was in finance for a while, and just wasn't happy. I decided to go back to school and pursue my interests, and obtained a certificate in photography. This was about 10 years ago, and I have focused on creating beautiful images ever since!
- What types of customers have you worked with?I do a lot of family portraits and professional portraiture. I also have done work for Architectural clients, including hotels. I also love sports and have shot for Stanford University as well as some personal sports documentary projects that I have worked on.
