Introduction: As the founder/Director of Mambonova Dance Company, I have been sharing my passion for salsa with the Bay Area for over 8 years with a particular emphasis on "salsa on2" style. My focus throughout this time has been on supporting the growth of dancers who feel the music, feel the connection, and feel empowered to add their own sabor. Dance is more than steps. When the music fills you and you are completely present with your partner, then I have done my job. As a teacher, I will break down the fundamentals with you... with the ultimate goal always being to empower you to create your own expression. Choosing a dance teacher means placing your faith in someone's artistic vision, technical background, and teaching philosophy. I have been truly honored to coach incredible dancers at all levels (newcomers through advanced salseros), and would love to work with you to help you achieve your dance goals.
