Customers rated this pro highly for professionalism, responsiveness, and work quality.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Outside of San Jose, I do charge a travel fee. It depends on how far outside of SJ you live; I just factor in gas expenses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Go ahead and reach out to me! 2) We can then discuss details about what you’re looking to get out of the photo shoot. (Maybe it’s a certain look or location.) 3) After taking the photos, making sure you’re comfortable in front of the camera, and providing a customer-focused experience, I begin to edit the photos. 4) I select about 15% of the photos we just took for the “first batch”. I send you the first batch in a google drive folder and from there, you can place the ones you LOVE in a folder labeled “chosen”. 5) The “last and final batch” will contain photos from the chosen folder and overall, about 2-10% of all the photos I took. In the end, you’re left with beautiful and edited photos. (2% may seem like a very low percentage but I easily take hundreds of photos, so 2% could mean 20 photos)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor’s degree in Film and Digital Media from UCSC. In-Studio experience with portrait photography. Freelance photographer with 4+ years of experience.
