Introduction: My work is unique because I am always trying new things and I never want to be just another florist. A touch of the unexpected is powerful and can transform any design. While I love creating something unique, my first and foremost goal is to create exactly what my clients imagine. I understand how disappointing it is when you want and are expecting one thing and a completely different thing is delivered. While this is not a completely new idea, I find it to be rare in the design world. I love the process of creating. In every step of a project there is a transformation and flow of imagination that inspires me. Then with that moment of completion there is not only the reward of hard work and beauty, but the joy of a happy client. That is why I love what I do.

Kelsey provided the flowers at my best friend's wedding. She was very helpful through the entire process. She is very attentive to detail and went above and beyond what was originally ordered (for example, working with the bride on vases/ mason jars and providing several great on ribbons). The wedding was in Monterey and Kelsey was very helpful with the delivery/ pick up options- even offering to drive them down herself! Kelsey was very professional and I highly recommend her services!

Well Kelsey herself is a nice person! Professionally, it was really hard to get in contact with her. I would sometimes get no responses and I would have to send several texts and emails. My wedding was out of state (around her neighborhood), so having the lack of communication was quite frankly, terrifying. I had sent her pictures of the bouquet I wanted for my wedding day and what I got was not even close. I was so disappointed, I tried to not show it for the sake of my friends and well you know the wedding day. I had asked for cascading and what I got was small. My girls had lavender and cotton bouquets and from what I got, the price of each bouquet should NOT have been the price I paid. I also had asked for ferns and we had talked about it.... and what I got were thin shrubs ( tiny shrubs). It really did bother me because I paid for those ferns to be full and what I imagined/talked about was not what I got. I did get about $86 back as a refund for my bouquet, but that does not make up for the shrubs as well as you know the fact that what I wanted for pictures and as my vision were somewhat ruined. Flowers are such an important part. Her garlands for my tables and cross were awesome though! So if you want some garlands, shes your girl. Again, shes super nice and this is not due to her personality but just professional work.

We are beyond happy with everything Kelsey did. She did our wedding and everyone loved the centerpieces and my bouquets were beautiful, she stayed till the end to make sure all my flower girls had their flower crowns on. She brought extra flowers to make sure we had enough flowers! She works with your budget and listens to what you want! I will forever be thankful for all her work and help for our wedding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are competitive due to my small size and lack of overhead. I also don't have packages so that you only have to pay for what you need.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have what some would call a creative bug. If I have a free day I am usually crafting or creating something. There are so many different types of crafts and skills out there and I want to try to learn them all. This drive has created many years of homemade gifts as well as many home crafted parties. My passion for creating unique and over the top parties I owe to my mother. Every year she would create the most amazing parties for both my sister and my birthday. The idea that no party needs to come out of a box has driven me to always be original. I have worked in the event industry for 5 years now in many different roles. From wedding photographer, catering, event management, event design, and florist. I have a passion for events and always love a good creative challenge.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done many different sizes of events from a large 300 person gala with three arrangements per table to a small gathering with just a couple low arrangements. I have even done an event where I did not even use flowers but all artificial plants and decor. The moon is the limit and I love a creative challenge. I also love helping brides with just a few details to take the load off of their DIY wedding.
