We hired NorCal Flooring to restore our original hardwood floors. Our floors had been subjected to 33 years of hard use: kids who were very physical and not very careful, multiple dogs of all sizes, and water damage from a broken washing machine. NorCal flooring fixed everything, and beautifully. Jesus Rivera (owner) and his employee, Alberto, were a pleasure to work with, and followed through on every promise and commitment. Our floors are now perfect - absolutely beautiful- they look stunning. The baseboards that Jesus reccomended also look great and give our home a much more modern appearance than it had previously. We are very happy to have hired NorCal Flooring. We appreciate the skills that Jesus brought to our project, the quality of the materials that he used, the care with which he and Alberto treated our home, and the fact that everything was completed on time, on budget, and exactly as promised.

NorCal does a fantastic job and takes great pride and detail in their work. Jesus is extremely professional and has great communication skills. I'm a local real estate agent and I but since we first him to another client and will continue doing so!

Great experience working with Jesus on our hardwood floors. Jesus was our general contractor's subcontractor for hardwood flooring. Out of everyone we worked with on this ~3 months project, he was the best subcontractor. We really trusted his expertise and he made our floors look great, with no squeaks, which is quite a feat for the old house that we have! Even when he suggested some additional work that needed to be done to "flatten" the subfloor, we knew he made the right suggestion and he did the extra work promptly, at a reasonable price, and with great results. We also needed to refinish our old staircase, and it looked so bad that we originally planned to paint it to hide all the damage of the wooden stair treads. But Jesus was able to work his refinishing magic and we now have beautiful, stained stair steps.

Jesus did flooring in the whole house, found him working at another house in the neighborhood. I was skeptic about whom to hire because the floor was pretty costly. Jesus was persistent about the quality of workmanship and materials he used. He did Glue and nail. Very nice custom job. He is passionate and proud of his work. We also pull the same wood on a wall and a big section of ceiling. Came out real nice. All the installations were done at 45 degrees and he had the right skills to pull it through.

We were looking to redo the majority of the flooring in our home prior to moving in. We were on a strict timeline since we were going to be traveling back to Canada for the holidays, but were moving in shortly after we returned. Jesus came out and listened to what we wanted, then shortly thereafter started giving us ideas on flooring, stairs, railing, etc. Two days later we met him to pick out the flooring. He started demolition the next day and he finished the job promptly. He communicated with us while we were back in Canada, sending us updates, photos, etc. Jesus and his team were also professional throughout the process. When Jesus was finished he still had some trash left in the garage and he came back promptly to pick it up and dispose of it. If we have any work to do related to hardwood in the future, we’ll definitely be reaching out to Jesus and his team.
