Woo hoo! I'm so freaking happy for you, Love! You completely changed your life in two hours and I'm so grateful that you gave me the opportunity to help you. Warmly, Genevieve
I used to have chronic pain and social anxiety; Im not the same person I used to be after working with Genevieve. Since my break-through, I started doing Yoga, made a handful of wonderful friends, and began a whole new career. I have gratitude for her and the work she does at the cellular level. She changed the entire course of my life!Feb 7, 2020Genevieve Miller Hypnotherapy's reply
Thanks so much for your review!. I'm so glad to hear that you've found that working with me has been valuable to you. Much love, Genevieve
Before working with Genevieve I had PTSD for over 7 years. I had gone to counseling, done somatic therapy, direct neuro feedback, and so many other things to heel. I felt like no matter how many coaches I worked with no one truly understood what I was experiencing. I felt frustrated and stuck. Genevieve was loving but also firm, she helped me stop sliding backward into old fears and instead created a space where I was able to heel rapidly. I now cry tears of joy almost daily over the simplest things that I was not able to enjoy for so very long because of the massive stress and anxiety. The ability to feel the sun on my face, the ability to focus on something for more than a minute. The ability to sleep through the night. These might be the most basic of things but I could not experience them for the longest time.Nov 14, 2019Genevieve Miller Hypnotherapy's reply
Hey, Love! Thanks so much for the kind words. You made incredible progress during our work together and I’m so proud of the life you’ve created for yourself. Much love, Genevieve
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I can create a flexible payment plan based on your unique situation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My unique approach to therapy is completely different from the traditional methods you may be familiar with where you show up once a week for an indefinite period of time with no clear path to healing and get mediocre results that fade over time. When you work with me, you can expect to get a dramatic transformation in the way you feel now, the way you view your past, and the way you experience life now and into the future. And it's all going to happen in a short period of time. The very first thing we're going to do together is to get crystal clear on what exactly your problem is and how it's affecting your life. Then we're going to get really specific about what you want to have instead. So many people know exactly what they DON'T want, but they don't really have a clear picture of what they DO want. The problem with this is that you're focusing your attention back on your problem, making it more likely to happen again. We're going to keep our eyeballs pointed in the direction we want to go: forward! We're also going to identify what specifically needs to happen in order for you to know you've reached your goal. Things like "I'll feel better" or "I'll be happy" or "So-and-So will stop being a jerk" aren't going to work. Here's why: feeling "better" than you do now means moving 1% towards total bliss, and 1% better is still smack dab in the middle of feeling completely crappy, and that's not going to get it. Neither is being "happy". Without changing your problem at all you can simply choose to feel happy now, and that's not going to get it either because your old problem is still hanging around. Having a goal of "So and So" will stop being a jerk isn't going to work because "So and So" isn't my client: you are. I work with clients all the time who have survived unspeakable trauma and while it is unequivocally true that any abuse you are experiencing at the hands of another person needs to stop immediately, it is also true that waiting to feel happy until that person decides to get their act together is exactly the same thing as turning over the power to get the care you need to the person who hurt you. They've already shown you that they've got their own agenda and taking care of you isn't on it. The good news, Love, is that you know exactly what you need right now to live a life that truly lights you up. You just may not know it consciously. That's what I'm here for: to help you discover exactly what you need and how to get it in a way that is ecological for you and those around you, so that you're always in the driver's seat of your life. Once we know the ins and outs of your problem and we're both crystal clear on what specifically you want to have instead, we're going to figure out how you created your problem so we make sure you never do it again. That word 'how' is super important because it's not at all like the one that's talked about in traditional therapy: 'why'. Knowing 'why' something happened does nothing to help us prevent it from happening again. I've had client, after client know clear as day that they stayed in an abusive relationship because they were afraid to leave. That knowledge didn't prevent them from eventually entering into another relationship that ended up being just like the one before it. The game-changer is figuring out 'how' something happened. Your 'how' is your strategy and it's the key to creating the big transformation we're after. My extensive training and experience has made me an expert at figuring out, and then completely dismantling, my clients' problem-creating strategies. I do this by listening to the specific language patterns you use (we label our problems with our words) and by maintaining a birds-eye view of your situation so that I can connect the dots that you just can't see when you're stuck down in your problem. As soon as I figure out how you created your problem, I can unravel the strategy that you used to create it in the first place so that you can never use it again to create the same problem. We're also going to need to get rid of all of the negative emotions that you've been carrying around with you that have been impacting the choices that you make in the present moment. Doing this won't make you a Stepford wife. You will still feel appropriate levels of every emotion, and there's a really good reason for that. Negative emotions serve the purpose of alerting us to a problem that needs our attention. When we give the problem the attention it needs, and we learn everything it's here to teach us, it goes away, we feel better and life gets a whole lot easier. So, you definitely want to hang on to the ability to feel appropriate levels of negative emotions when necessary. By releasing all of the emotional junk you've been carrying around with you from your past including anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt, shame, jealousy and anything else that comes up for you, you'll regain control over your emotions, your choices and your life. Next we're going to focus our attention on the limiting beliefs you've been carrying around. These are beliefs that are neither true nor helpful and, along with your old emotional junk, are causing you to create problems that become chronic. When you're stuck down in your problem it can be impossible for you to notice all of the hurtful things you're telling yourself, but my incredibly thorough attention to detail won't miss a single one of them. We'll get rid of all of the limiting beliefs that come up in the context of your problem and release them so that you can finally experience the peace and freedom that come naturally when you're living as your true-self. By this point you're going to be feeling really, really good, but really, really good isn't the same thing as completely transformed. So the last stop on our journey together is going to be changing the way you view any past trauma that you've experienced. Some trauma victims are really reluctant to let go of the powerfully negative emotions associated with their past trauma because they've been relying on that power that they carry to push them through life. Sometimes they're afraid that letting go of the negative emotions associated with these events means letting the person who hurt you evade justice. It doesn't mean any of that. Instead it means reclaiming the power that this trauma holds and transforming it from one that holds power OVER you into something that holds power FOR you. When we do that, you're finally going to know the powerful peace that comes with the knowledge that you can handle anything that comes your way. If you take anything away from reading this page, I want it to be this: You already have everything you need in order to be, do and have everything you want. The only thing you need is to get rid of the junk that's keeping you from being able to live every moment of every day as your true-self, and that's exactly what we're going to do together.
