Moving is extremely stressful as we all know, but the pros at Southwest really mitigate a lot of that anxiety. I dealt with the nicest people from Mandy, who was my initial contact and provided me with the moving quote, to Ajay, who provided me with an update and ETA on the arrival of the movers, and then the three movers themselves, Joe Robert and James, who worked tirelessly and efficiently and went above and beyond packing our belongings and going the extra mile (or two), it couldn't have gone better! My experience with Joe and his crew could not have been better! The guys showed up on time, and amazingly finished everything in four hours, as promised. Rbert and Jay are crazy hard workers, but made special effort to take their time with my fragile wooden pieces of furniture. Communication with customer service throughout the process was professional and prompt. I'll be moving again in the next year again and there is not doubt in my mind that I'm going with these guys.Apr 15, 2016Verified
We called over 5 weeks ago to book Southwest Movers . Have this coming Friday April 8th reserved. We have a reservation number and estimate for Friday April 8. Dear Janelle We understand that you were given a quote by an online service Thumbtack . South West Movers received your request and sent you only the basic information pertaining to our Standard Moving Rates and Fees . Unfortunately , as professional as the Thumbtack Service is , we sometimes receive requests that are out of our standard operating zone . We are based out of San Jose and you reside in Modesto . Our Representative in good faith attempted to accommodate the date of your move and was solicitous providing good customer service . However , when your paperwork was sent to Our dispatch they immediately responded that you did not meet the in zone criteria . Our Representative called you within 15 minutes and explained that if you still wanted to move there would be an small gasoline fee added. That's when you became nasty and yelled . It was only 15 minutes.!!! We don't leave people stranded! We communicate . Well we now have to place you on the Southwest Movers blacklist of most ungrateful potential customers who never moved with us ! We have decided that we will not move you for the next 30 years ! I want to thank Southwest Movers and Joe and his crew for moving me. Probably the best price I found after researching a few companies and everything went well with no problems. It was a flat price and everything was included didn't have to worry about the time or paying for packing or no other surprise fees. Will definitely use them again.Feb 25, 2016Verified
